Still here, Still Single, and still in debt.

    What does SAD stand for?

  • If we were 'singletons against debt' though, we'd be SAD.....

I started on page 1 but obviously missed the post where it was mentioned. I'm now suitably enlightened.

    Hi!

Please can I be "SAD" too?! I am single (coming up to 7months now) and it feels good that I only have myself and my daughter to spend on or save for, or pay debts off for if you know what I mean? No distractions at all :)

Well I have a credit card debt (which is more than on my signature plus I have some utility bill debts that I need to get rid of too) so will be here for a little while.

Love this website!! I can tell when I haven't been on as I seem to "lose" money left right and centre!

  • Haven't posted for a while, but something great has happened while I've been away.

I've paid off my Bank Loan. :j

A handful of months more, and I'll be completely DF.

And £240 in your savings :-D

  • And £240 in your savings

    Yes and no.

ATM, I'll be putting aside the extra £240pm for the MOT (don't want to have to borrow anything for it), and anything left after the MOT, will go toward my remaining debt.

Once the remaining debt is gone, I'll be saving £200pm toward next year's car and contents insurances, MOT, Road Tax and servicing.

Whatever's left from that, will go on a holiday next year.
