    Hello all,

    I'm also a singleton, 41, but did manage to get my debts paid off recently so am now a SAM as I'm trying to get rid of the mortgage.

    You all sound so motivated, motivational and determined. As well as enjoying the ride. It really rubs off reading the posts.

    Southernbelle - all sounds great for your upcoming new status!:D I'm sure he already thinks you're "fit" by saying he really likes you. So just the one health fit to conquer which is great having the 10 week break ready for your "Wow" moment when he returns.

  • Hi All,

    I have been reading this thread for the past few days and loving it. Everybody seems genuine and can support one another. I am very SAD, 38, but faaaar from sad. It's all my fault :mad:, but also a huge learning curve. Once I am DF I will celebrate like mad (in an MSE style of course ;)). I don't have a sig yet, have to work on it though. Dealing with my debt alone, but it's good as I am not responsible to anyone for my income or expenditure, only myself. I am also waiting for Mr Right - hopefully one day he appears.:rotfl:
    I am decluttering so want to see how many shoes/bags/makeup I have not worn/used in ages so I could sell/give/bin it. Will see...
    Hope everyone is having a good weekend. :)

  • Hi tomandjerry and welcome along:)

    I too like you haven't done my sig yet as I'm in the very early stages of sorting out my debt and have only just sent my paperwork off yesterday to CCCS for my DMP.

    I notice there are lots of lady singletons on here but not very many male singletons, not that I mind of course as I prefer female company anyway:)

    Me too. Going for a promotion at work, moved horses somewhere new, newly single and ..... changed my signature to include my debt!
    I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be
  • Morning S.A.D.s,

    I said good bye to the potential-man for 6 weeks last night, so feeling a bit rubbish today. :( So am truly S.A.D. in more ways than one. I don't know what (if anything) will happen when he gets back but I am hoping that he will miss me.

    Have just been cheered up by HSBC who have agreed to freeze interest for 12 months - by which point my debt will be paid :j

    A stroppy letter does work!:rotfl::cool:
