very few transactions ever truely meet paypals seller requirements, one of which is you must have proof that the BUYER signed for the item they received, so if the buyers mum or flatmate does, you arent covered anyway. Paypal use those terms to wriggle out of taking responsibility.
Paypal preaches its all safe, its all easy, have no worries, all over their site, but when the fit hits the shan, paypal make sure above all its not them out money.

That website is mentioned over and over again.
If you're going to accept PayPal you should really read the rules properly. Most people wouldn't have sent a £500 item to an unconfirmed address.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

As previously said, paypal imply its safe and friendly and no risk. its not. They dont make it easy to find the fine print in the terms and conditions, then quote them when unfortunate souls like the OP get caught out.0 -
Hi
I had a similar problem with a laptop i sold. Paypal made me pay the money even though they had cleared the funds. I refused, they sent it to a debt collection agency so in the end i had to pay it.£2 Savers club £0/£150

also very few scammers pick on low cost items, so you could trade on ebay for years and have no problems, yet if you sell a mobile phone, electrical equipment, laptops, pcs, tfts then it can be a minefield...0

Rather than continuously moaning about PayPal quite simply don't use it if that's how you feel.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

"I know what's going on so I'm alright and I'll just leave everyone else to make their own mistakes."
That's not really the ethic here, though, is it?
