  • i paid by pay pal and never recived item
    no response from seller
    filled claim
    won case
never got my money back as the seller closed their p/pal and ebay account.

it was only £15 but that's not the point, i thought i was covered. glad i wasn't buying an expensive item.

i had an experience 6 yrs ago, bought a weeks accomodation in spain seller had over 300 positive feedback for the same accomodation, never got details through then their positive turned to negative feedback overnight!!
i paid through pay pal and reported it to ebay, i was very new to ebay and i didn't realise that pay pal could get your money back.
i also reported it to my cc as fraud my cc refunded me back. pay pal was very cross with me as the cc company got the money back from pay pal. p/pal threatened to close my account if i reported it to my cc and not pay pal again !!!

I guess the auction didn't offer PayPal buyer protection?
