Spew, I have to ask, how much are you claiming to make on ebay? I mean if youre a student then you dont have to pay tax so whats the harm in telling us?

I recon you'd be lucky to make £25 profit per ipod which is small fry, and even then that would have been completely obliterated when you got done for the laptop!!

Claiming to make? I'm making a lot, it's none of your business. Because I'm a student doesn't mean I don't have to pay tax, if you think/thought that you're sadly mistaken.

I reckon you don't know what you're talking about. Why are you still posting here, and generally being a moron?

Is there really any need for insults in nearly every one of your posts *sigh*

Is just plain insulting and irritating, especially when I make more than he's suggesting.

If you're making more money that's great but there isn't any need for the continuous insults.

    Spew,

If you read from like page 4 again you'll see that your the one whose calling people spanners and idiots and telling them your not interested in what they have to say. This is a discussion forum so people are free to say what they like, be it constructive or not, just ignore idiots like myself if you wish.

You keep boasting about how much you make on ebay yet your rating is only 275..... and you sell mainly ipods at only 95 quid. Id assume there are many heavyweight members on this site with 4 figure ratings from selling items in excess of £1,000. Far bigger profit margins than on items of under £100.

So congrats on find a good little money earner but dont attempt to insult other sellers of whom you no nothing about.

Can we all just shake and make up because this is getting stupid!!

I am afraid that students do pay tax just like the rest of us if you go over £5225 per year.

If students didnt pay tax, powersellers would just enrol for night school every year wouldnt they.

Yea I was getting confused because I have a couple of mates who are doing PHds, and the companies that pay for their pHds also absorb the tax!!

smashed, if you look at the quote you took from spew more carefully, I think you'll see he isn't denying that students still pay tax!
