Totally not fabbing related but I've finished my accounts and submitted tax return. I feel soooooo happy I finally knuckled down and do this. Means I won't spend December worrying about getting them done or January spending in a blind panic trying to get them done :D:D:D

I am happy, happy, happy :j

Woot - well done Bitsy :T I must admit I always used to a 'right at the last minute' one on the accounts :o

Just got some news, finally got the release date through for my Christmas story - is going to be 14th December :j Not long now at all - eep!! I really need to think about starting on some promotion for it - does anyone have any ideas? It's an ebook so doesn't need to be locally based, I'm thinking internet is probably best but apart from my usual Facebook author page and blog - which don't have a massive number of followers/likes - I'm not really sure where to start.

I feel better - at last! Yipee!! Sorry to hear a lot of us are not feeling well at the moment - must be so much going around right now

So rang work to arrange going in next week on reduced hours and arranged to see mum tomorrow to see how I get on and that will give me a good indication of how well I am overall. Feeling a bit like a pincushion after blood tests as the nurses struggled a bit to get a vein! Anyway a comprehensive list of blood tests done and if all is ok then great stuff and nice to know that too

An ebay collection finally made ready for the next lot ending at the weekend

Really good to feel better at long last and looking forward to a coffee out tomorrow for the first time in a long time!

Bitsy and LL - I have been nagging the dr but will keep on at her. Waiting to hear back for a hospital appointment. She keeps saying she doesn't really know what can be done apart from the pill though...surely there's something!!

Fab Friday ladies - don't forget. Get yourselves "prettied up".

Gotta dash but just to let you know the good news.

Have received an offer for my house today. I've just got to hope that the proposed planning application for the back field doesn't scupper the sale.....Fingers crossed.

The EA has also offered me a job:rotfl: Oo-er.

Could be fun...:D And of course a few extra pennies would come in handy.

    Hi all,

LL - wow, two lots of fab news :jfingers crossed the sale will all go through smoothly - and how great that the EA was so impressed with you! (though understandable of course :rotfl:).

bratz - hope you're feeling a bit better today, is it hormonal methods altogether that don't agree with you or just the pill? I'm on the depo injection and would really recommend it, get a jab once every 3 months and don't have periods at all.

Didn't have a very productive night last night - ended up dozing off at about half 7  Really don't know what's up with me lately! Have given in and realised I'm going to have to start looking for xmas pressies - though will be seriously reduced this year as I have very very little spare money :( Anyone have any ideas for things that cost little to nothing but don't look it?:rotfl:At least it's Friday today - seemed like a very long week!

I have fabbed up (dress again! tights and boots) but I don't feel it, eyes are really sore, rubbish sleep again and still feel naff. Oh well suck it up and carry on. Going to walk the dog and then come back slob and paint my nails :D

Just had to post and say :TLL on your good news.

Brother and SIL just about to arrive to stay for the weekend. Have spent big chunk of morning prepping food. Didn't want to look overdressed indoors so am wearing jeans and a cashmere jumper. Have showered, done hair and put on light make up.

I love my brother dearly but....he and I have followed very different paths since we were children and I find we live in very diferent worlds. I was talking to DH about it today. It's uncannily very like our DDs. Both have degrees, one has a very demanding job the other chooses to work as a part-time cleaner. DH said I wouldn't have been happy doing something that wasn't intellectually stimulating. I was questioning who was the biggest mug!

Have a good weekend all, hoping poorlies get to feel better soon.

Flipping eck! How quick was that! Congratulations! Hope it all goes well. And a job offer - things are looking up!

Been really busy this week - work is just bonkers sometimes. Have managed to keep up the walking and do a teeny bit of fabbing so all is not lost.

Looking forward to a rest this weekend - feel like I haven't had a sit down for weeks!
