It's finished finally :jHope I never have to see that stupid dissertation again! Huge weight off, can focus on getting sorted for xmas now.
LL - sounds like things are getting there slowly - moving definately counts as exercise, think it's one of the most exhausting things you can do.
Rummer - tomorrow's a new day, one slip up won't make much of difference so try not to be too hard on yourself x
ww - glad pooch is looking a bit brighter, am sure he will be back to his usual self in no time0 -
PP - glad you're feeling better, hopefully you can have a bit of me time now.
WW- good news that Mr dog is on the mend. Hope he makes a full recovery.
LL- I've done no exercise for weeks.(as I'm writing this I realise I have dogwalked- I don't seem to count this perhaps I should), apart from decorating, and a couple of hours yoga. Certainly think moving counts!
DS3 is at an interview as we speak, only an apprenticeship on £2 odd an hour but its to do with computers so might be a bit more up his street than his current college course. If he gets it though it does mean that I'm going to have to get my a**e into gear regarding some sort of paid work as I'll lose a substantial amount of tax credits.
H has received a ESA claim form to fill in again less than 6 months after winning his appeal they are reviewing again -cheeers DWP lovely xmas pressie.:( The thought of having to go through all that again just fills me with dread.
I've been reflecting on how far I think I've come and though I still have lots of way to go on a fair few things, I feel as if I've made real progress since this time last year.
Last year in Dec I was seeing a counsellor for depression, feeling v. low and lonely. Though it hasn't all been plain sailing, I still feel lonely at times and down these feelings don't last as long as they did and I'm much better at picking myself up and getting on with life.
Still haven't done anything about setting a business up or got any paid work so need to step up a bit with that.
On the fabbing front, I walk dog regularly 2+ hrs most days, do yoga once a week, keep basic fabbing up and have lost just over half a stone meaning I am now just within the correct BMI band. (have lost another pound :j) I want to maintain this over xmas and try and lose a little bit more in the new yr.
I also want to try and get a bit more me time for pampering rather than rushed attempts now and then.
I'm quite happy with my progress, fingers crossed I can keep it up.
I probably won't have time to post before xmas but will try and have a quick read and definitely will join the next thread.
So if I don't get chance I wish you all a merry xmas and a happy new year.:santa2::xmastree::xmassign: XXFrump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

Plus of course there will be an orgy of cleaning required - in both properties.
.
LL - when I cleaned my late nan's house after the tenants moved out I was exhausted! Harder work than an hour's swimming or running! It just goes on for hours - it definitely counts as hardcore exercise.:)It's finished finally :jHope I never have to see that stupid dissertation again! Yeah!!! Well done you! You should get a degree too!
Just half a day to go at work now and its mostly taken up with a carol service at church - not really my thing but compulsory.
Have a ton of marking to get out of the way before the new year when we all get observed so I have to do a bit tonight (spent all afternoon marking bl*ody books too ).
Exercise has passed me by this week too - just back from 20 mins in the rain with the dog - the longest he's walked in a week, so hopefully on the right track for recovery. I need to get back into it after the stresses of the past week. Maybe tomorrow I'll do a bit of a swim or run in the afternoon after work. I have great intentions:rotfl:0 -
Evening all,
Feeling bit better tonight tried out fitness yoga tonight and was good fun. Teacher played xmas songs and bought a tin of sweets.
Have not heard from male friend since monday, so feel calmer about that situation now. Just need to plough on and find a new job now.
New year, fresh start for me! Eh xx0 -
