Oh Eh I do feel for you. It's crossing a moral line now. It's unfair of him to do this to you. He probably claws hope from every contact not realising that your feelings will remain unchanged. Many men can confuse being friendly with love. Hope things settle down for you :A

I'm sure there'll be another thread rummer. Our lady in charge is bitsy. :j

Great to hear about that house viewing bitsy :j

Wish I could get rid of this hot forehead head achey feeling. I think I'm tired.

    Take care all

EH - sorry to hear about your 'friend'. I've put friend in quotes because I don't think he really is being a friend right now; if he truly cared about you he'd give you the space you asked for.

WW - glad pup is on the mend and am sending healing vibes.

WW hope pooch is better today xxxx healing vibes for him xxx

EH :( friend really ought to respect what you've said. You can't make people love you, not least by badgering them. Whilst it takes guts to stick his head over the parapet he must be prepared to get it shot off. it was gamble, it hasn't worked the way it wanted so its time to accept your decision.

There will be another thread started on 21st ladies :D

ETA feedback on house, lady liked ours the most out of the three she saw. She has more to see this weekend so EA will chase her up in new year. Sounds promising at any rate :)

  • Fabbing out of the window today. In a rush to just get out of the door today. Will make up for it tonight though - will have a walk with OH round the town tonight and then come home for a cleanse, tone moisturise and full body moisturise.

EH - he should realise that the more he bothers you the less you are inclined to want to see him - just not getting the message is he? Be careful, don't want to be a doom monger but please take care he doesn't go all stalker on you. xx

Bitsy - good news about the house - it must be a difficult time of year to try to sell a house - good luck.

Mine - hope you're feeling a bit better?
Rummer - well done on losing more weight!

Dog still ok but not back to normal - still appears to get very tired quickly. Will have a look to see if there are any side effects of the drugs he's on as he eating and drinking well and doesn't seem uncomfortable just not very lively. At least I finish work at Friday lunchtime for 2 weeks and can keep a closer eye on him - he may be potteringaround in the day and tiring himself out? Got visions of him watching telly and being on the phone all day and wearing himself out.:rotfl:

Not got anything planned for tonight apart from a rest and finally dyeing my hair. Will make a proper tea and try to catch up on some little household jobs.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's new goals for the next challenge - I have been coerced into doing part of a relay marathon today - a quarter marathon each:eek::eek: About 10km each so not too bad but it sounds a lot longer - not until the end of April so plenty of time to get training. Must be mad!

Glad I finished early today and took the dog out on his longer after work walk for the first time in ages after work before the rain arrived. Then made myself do some exercise when we got back. Just need to do a spot of ironing and wrap up a secret santa present for work tomorrow all ready to go with the rest of work snacks and lunch then counting down till Friday and a few days off then its the work night out on Winter Solstice day

Still deciding on the outfit - either red or turquoise - will decide on the day. Am finishing early on so zoom home then take the dog for his walk, see if I can fit in 30mins of exercise and then get ready to go layering on plenty of make up to razzle dazzle for Crimbo!

I'll be registering for the half marathon again in May and starting the training again and hoping I can do it after this year having to miss it with the ear infection and virus and antibiotics. Decided to keep it quiet this time around and go for it and do it and not make too much of a song and dance about it like this year. As I trained for it last year I know how much training is involved and will be aiming to get to 15miles to be well prepared for the 13 miles :rotfl:

My goodness but I'm shattered, surrounded by mess and chaos, am trying to keep most of the boxes upstairs out of the way but my house is a tip. Tomorrow will have to have a bit of a schlepp round.

DS1 and I took two car loads of stuff over to the new house today. We are moving all the small stuff ourselves so that the removal men just take the furniture and large items. It does save a small fortune but it is hard work. Perhaps it will help me lose a little weight.

Re goals for our next segment - well my brain is in overdrive as normal - lots of plans. And a lot more personal fabbing will be required.....At the moment I am just about keeping up with the basics. I will need to get a grip.

However, one thing I am resolved on. No more clutter, no more hoarding "treasures". A scaled down, pared down simple life from now on.

As we move stuff over I am sorting out as best I can, plenty of trips to the charity shops and the tip. However, some of it will have to go with us because I want to try and sell the better items, plus there is a whole load of business accounts, paperwork etc to be burned - far too much for the shredder to cope with. That will have to wait for slightly warmer weather though.

It has to be said my OH was a bit of a hoarder, there are boxes and boxes of old work papers etc going back over 20 years.:o I think we can safely assume they can now be destroyed.

WW - so glad to hear your doggy is feeling a bit better. I am half watching "Snow Babies" as I write this.

Ladies - your plans for marathons put me to shame. I've done hardly any exercise recently. Does lugging round all my possessions and running up and down stairs all day count?

Plus of course there will be an orgy of cleaning required - in both properties.

PP - glad you are feeling a little better and that you've nearly completed your partner's dissertation - time for you now.

Bitsy - good luck with your viewer - fingers crossed.

I've not even started doing my Christmas food shopping yet......

Ah well - I'm sure it will all come together in the end - these things usually do.
