Evening all - thank you for all of the good wishes for the woofer.
He seems to be improving slowly - now eating and drinking small portions of chicken and rice quite well (he's having nicer food than me!) and seems to have perked up a bit. The scan tomorrow will show if there's any internal improvement and we're struggling on with the antibiotics (a trial in themselves!) so fingers crossed.
Its pouring down here - proper bouncing rain so no run for me today. (Good excuse!) Providing the woofer's tea stays inside him I'll treat myself to a bit of fabbing tonight - the last few sleepless days have taken their toll a bit - have a home dye kit so will probably do that and a good face and body scrub in the bath and a good moisturise.
3 and a half days more to go at school - I'm ready for the break now.:o0 -
Hugs to you and doggy :A Get lots of rest, glam hair tomorrow!
So Solstice is fast approaching. I've certainly changed a few habits.
Doing (kind of, almost, well half then..) a daily walk with doggy (in addition to hub walking them).
Switched to using Oral B toothpaste and I think it is making a difference.
End of term report... could do better on personal fabbing. My eyebrows feel like they could be braided(!!). Hair is a fuzz ball. I have lovely toiletries and make up and I'm just not using them enough.
So I need to get my thinking cap on... to think about from Winter Solstice to ?? Summer?! Is that right?Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hammering it down here - started light mizzle when I set off for the dog walk then got heavier so the run is off tonight - lets see if my running mojo returns tomorrow instead or if I talk myself out of it!

Feeling soooo tired again this week, I had forgotten how tiring teaching was at this time of year. I did manage to motivate myself last night to go out for an hour to the local toning tables (after having a wee half hour snooze as I was practically falling asleep after making dinner). Roll on the Christmas break.
I am planning to get out for a walk tonight too. In the meantime fabbing this morning will be
1. Shower, wash hair
2. Cleanse, tone moisturise.
3. Perfume spritz
4. Healthy food and snacks - soup for lunch, apple, satsuma for snacks and water to drink.0 -
Morning all,
Am feeling back in the land of the living todayStill a bit stuffy/coughy but not so achey and my head's so much less fuzzy - lovely to be able to think straight again :rotfl:
WW - glad woofer seems to be perking up a bit, they're such a worry when they're ill aren't they. Good job you have insurance for him as well, one of my biggest worries for the cat is that we don't have insurance on her and because she's classed as an 'older' cat now hardly anyone will take her and if they do it's a very high rate. Think will need to look at starting a 'kitty emergency fund' in the New Year - just in case!
Anyway been blitzing the dissertation - I will get the stupid thing out of the way so I can get my life back! :rotfl:Will have to have it done by tomorrow night at the later so OH can get it printed/bound etc on Thursday. Going to nip into town before choir tonight and hopefully get some xmas bits sorted then. I'm really struggling for some xmas enthusiasm at the moment - it just doesn't seem like it's only a week away  Still, am looking forward to the break from work - only 4 working days left (almost 3.5 lol - can you tell I'm counting?) So I may not be getting very far but I do have a plan!
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Evening all.
The dog has been for yet another trip to the vets - this time for more blood tests and another ultrasound.
The ultrasound showed a little reduction in swelling which means that hopefully the antibiotics are working. The blood test results won't be back until Thurs so we won't know what the next move is yet. He's still eating and drinking and has little 10 min walks a couple of times a day but gets tired easily. Its better than it was last week but still not out of the woods.
I did manage a bath, face scrub and body scrub last night so a little bit of fabbing but just couldn't be bothered with the hair dye - tomorrow now.
I'm another with no Christmas cheer yet - no tree or decs up, no present wrapping done, no cards written, I'm hoping that it will all get miraculously festive on Friday when I have to go to a carol service with my form at school. I'm not at all religious but it does usually get you in the mood!0 -
Another one here with very little Christmas cheer - just looking forward to a few days off work.
Managed to talk myself into some exercise after getting home late again from work - this is getting much more regular and I'm going to finish early tomorrow
Fabwise then is a bit of exercise, bit of defuzzing and a bit of organisation for tomorrow getting a loaf in the bread maker to finish at getting up time and all werk food ready to go

Ww- glad your doggy on the mend.
My temp work went well and thanked me for my hard work even though mundane stuff was nice to be appreciated.
Things not so good with male friend who loves me, said we needed space but managed to contact me everyday still, came to a head last night and I told him in no uncertain terms to back off and give me space if our friendship is to survive. He sent some long texts which upset me so feeling emotional fragile at the moment. Doesn't help that housemate got a new bloke stopping over tonight too.
So i'm feeling unfab, eating rubbish food and feeling bit down in dumps. Tomorrow is a new day and only 5 days till back to my mums for xmas and some tlc.
Eh x0
