There is no debt, so just ignore them like you would do with a Nigerian scammer asking for your bank account details to put millions in. You wouldn't give them anything treat these scumbags in the same way.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
we had a letter from a nigerian scammer aswell lol!0

File them together in a drawer marked 'scammers'! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello, you stuck it out this far carry it on,
KEEP CALM AND KEEP IGNORING!
or you can pay me 30 notes and state me as the named driver, just for you i will fight of the baliffs and debt collectors.
cp plus, parking collections ltd and debt recovery plus are all owned by the same man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there has been no selling on of debts etc as it is a simple case of passing your case file from one desk to the next!!:j:beer:The word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
We workers all love it and the ppc hate it :rotfl:0 -
thank you. i'll do that!0

"cannot risk court because of my job"
This would not be criminal court in the 1 in a million chance the scammers would even attempt it. This is none of your employers business on any level.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
its with CP Plus then had letter from Parking collection services and today from Debt recovery plus limited
The very involvement of these certified scam-mongers tells every member of the congnoscenti that this is not a byelaw issue. The problem is that even raising the byelaw subject serves only to confuse lame-brains such as employers and hire companies. To them, even the plain UKPC invoice for overstaying at a retail park is a major offence that must be addressed.
You know how to handle this matter and you know why. Just make sure you don't get any lip from your employer or the hire company, and I've said this many times - if you find a deduction in your next wage from your employer having forwarded remittance to the futile CP Plus or their less effective Debt Recovery Plus, ensure that you take the employer to the industrial tribunal. Leave a message here if the need arise and I'll guide you step by step on how to do this, it is simple.0 -
Hi again. Sorry to sound like a wimp and I have listened to and taken all the advice above. However.....
Sine my original post having received the first Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, I ignored it and received a further, exactly the same letter. Again I ignored this. Around a week or so has passed and then this morning I've received a new, "upping the ante" type letter emblazoned with NOTICE OF INTENDED LITIGATION. (Anyone else had this one???) It goes on to say that if I don't make payment their solicitor may issue county court proceedings.
It then even encourages you to visit their website to see "proof" of successfully obtained CCJ's. Most are for less than my "outstanding" amount which has now risen to £149.99.
I get that if this is one big scam to scare you into paying but I have to confess to be getting increasingly worried. It even claims on their site that people should not be mislead by advice to ignore them on forums such as these!!!
As before, I have made no contact whatsoever with them but was just wondering if anyone else has reached this stage with them and beyond and are they serious about pursuing me and I'm going to end up in court? Thank your in advance once again.0 -

Yes, I've got a few of them.Skagbagger wrote: »It then even encourages you to visit their website to see "proof" of successfully obtained CCJ's. Most are for less than my "outstanding" amount which has now risen to £149.99.
The biggest proof you need is VCS vs HMRC & VCS vs Mr IbbotsonSkagbagger wrote: »I get that if this is one big scam to scare you into paying but I have to confess to be getting increasingly worried.
Absolutely no need to.Skagbagger wrote: »It even claims on their site that people should not be mislead by advice to ignore them on forums such as these!!!
Of course they're going to claim this, it stops people paying.Skagbagger wrote: »As before, I have made no contact whatsoever with them but was just wondering if anyone else has reached this stage with them and beyond and are they serious about pursuing me and I'm going to end up in court? All of us have reached this stage and continued to ignore. Nothing to worry about.0
