If you also look at the feedback, 99% of those feedbacks are left within 4 days of the person buying the mattress! i find it hard to believe that anone can get any idea of how a product is within 4 days if even that due to a couple of days delivery! what you will find however is people leave feedback as soon as they get the item after seeing it looks okie. How do you know how long its going to last, how do you know its going to keep its retention how do you know your going to be able to have good nights sleeps on it ater just one night! It would be very interesting to hear peoples feedback that have had this mattress for 6 months or more and i can bet you it wouldnt be the same as they left within 4 days!

I cant believe people are suggesting buying a mattress that your going to spend best part of 10 hours a day laying on for the next few years on what someone says from an ebay purchase 4 days after they bought it!

This is the problem with ebay feedback. There are actually two or three companies on ebay selling fake memory foam mattresses, but they have good feedback because most buyers don't realise that they aren't memory foam, and are in fact cheap reflex foam.

    EXACTLY!!
To the general pblic foam is foam, i guess if you want "fast delivery, good communication, will shop here again then" then this is the place for you!

How long did you say it was until you reported the fault?

The guarantee I have mentions no deductions for usage charges and covers the mattress for 5 years.

I first complained to SLEEPMASTER after having the mattress for just under 12 months (but as we all know, we suffer for a few months wondering what is wrong as you know it cant be a brand new mattress!), and have succesfully complained and they have accepted liabilty after a further 12 months. So in total I have had this awful mattress in my home for over 2 years, but have had problems since about 5 months of use.

They have offered a refund minus 24 months, I feel if they have any right to deduct when this is not in the contract, that is should be 5 months, as this was for the length of time the mattress was comfortable.

PLEASE CAN ANY OTHER SLEEPMASTER CUSTOMERS WITH COMPLAINTS EMAIL ME DIRECT, as I am considering contact the media, could be a good story for Watchdog!!

The full guarantee should be for at least 12 months. So if there are any faults within that period then they should either replace, refund, or repair without any cost to you within that time.

Thanks Tim, the problem I am having is that they sent an 'independent representative' to look at the mattress at 12-13 months old, and he said there was no fault - I told them at the time I was unhappy with this as it was soggy. They are trying to say this fault has only occured within the last 12 months - I totally disagree, and say the fault has always been there. They just sent a better inspector this time, who could clearly see the problem.

Can any other Sleepmasters unhappy customer email me as I would like us to compare notes.

This puts into doubt the credibility of some of the engineers. It makes you wonder if they aren't actually engineers, and are just representatives of Sleepmasters

Have you heard of Nestledown? Supposedly they were the first engineers to visit!

Seems they are part of the Simmons group - and looking on the website I think the mattresses look very similar to those made for Sleepmaster!

Yes they are part of the same group as Simmons, so they should know better. In fact Simmons are the parent group for Sleepeezee, and Cumfilux also. These are all fairly middle of the range, so I'm confused as to why Sleepmasters didn't use Relyon as they are part of the same group as Sleepmasters.
