The same could be said to you Tim lol :)

I'm not hiding anything. I'm quite open about what I do, but it appears that some people on here are not.

As I keep saying, your mattress is obviously right for YOU, but like LAdamson it sounds like you are trying to sell the mattress.

As LAdamson said, he has checked their conditions of the warranty, and theirs isn't on a sliding scale. I only said normally. However it does day at their discretion, which seems to be a very open get out clause.

Why would I send you anything to review? I'm on here to give people honest and impartial advice, rather than the sales hype and gimmicks that they normally receive from people trying to sell them products.

That's what I'm here to do as well. I was just shocked that you were slating the Ergoflex mattress with no justification. As I own one and have reviewed it for my video blog, I thought I would offer my opinion to anyone who cared to read it. I am no salesperson, anyone can look me up on google and find out everything about me.

Although you are not directly selling anything you obviously have an interest on this site and in particular this thread. I am sure you get enough PMs which convert to sales of your beds/mattresses to make it worth it. For you to offer advice from opinion on products that you have never seen or touched seems ludicrous. It would be like me making a review on your mattresses without ever having slept on them. I just believe in a little fair play.

You have given your own personal opinion on one product that you own. I give general impartial advice on many products in my specialist field. I do a great deal of research into most types of beds and mattresses, and receive veiws of 1000's of people about products that they own.

For your information I actually refuse to give out my web site address or business name in PM's, as many people who have PM'd me will verify. I also don't comment on products that I sell, I only give general advice to help people being ripped off by sales gimmicks and hype sutch as the airflow layer in reflex foam/memory foam mattresse, that would be squashed as soon as someone lays on it. Your statement however could have come straight from the Ergoflex web site.

What statement would that be then? Are you accusing me of being a salesperson? I do plenty of research into most things I buy and especially into things I review. With my reputation on the line I have to ensure absolute impartiality when it comes to what I publish.

Reviewing items doesn't make you impartial. How many different mattresses have you reviewed?

Firstly guys - I wasn't looking to cause a problem here, and it looks like this thread is now developing in to a place where anyone will say anything to 'win the argument'. I also wasn't expecting people to fabricate scenarios or information to make them look more credible...
Tim, It's a little cheeky of you to say 'I'm starting to sound like a bed salesman' especially as you are a bed salesman... I work for the DWP.
I was only looking for some info and advice, and to be straight, I actually fancy a Tempur mattress as they have a 60 day trial - not the ergo flex - as they don't offer the trial. (I will however say they were very informative and helpful when I spoke to them.)

Please don't accuse me of fabricating scenarios. Like I said I speak to 1000's of people about beds and mattresses, and many of them tell me horror stories. So I may have got the time frame wrong, but as I said if it was less than two years then it doesn't say much about the quality of the mattress.

As I have said, I'm not on here to sell anything, I'm here only to give advice. I don't comment on items I sell, and I don't give out my web site address, or my business name (even in PM's).

Of course they were polite and helpful, they are trying to sell you a mattress. However to tell you that there have never been any complaints about their products is complete rubbish, and is unrealistic.

Just remember that Tempur came out bottom in the which magazine report, and Ergoflex compare their mattresses to Tempur to try and attract customers away from Tempur.

It really sounds like you're trying to dig yourself out of a big fibbing hole by trying to discredit anyone else with views, experience or expertise. In the last page of posts it is quite clear that you have fabricated many of the 'quotes' from the 'thousands' of people who tell you about their previous problems.

Going back on yourself and changing quotes around to fit seems pretty poor. Like Lorraine has previously suggested - why did you not just say it was just your opinion. Why do you have to back up so many of your opinions with science without sources?

I'm sure you know your own product well but it is clear to me that you are not as much as an expert as you lead others to believe about other products on the market.

You say that reviews are biased, yet you contradict yourself with putting forward an old report from Which?. As you have never touched, felt or slept on an Ergoflex mattress perhaps it's best you stop discrediting their brand.

I'll give you an example so that you can understand me. Mercedes have a car which is like a BMW 320d. They are priced similarly and targeted at the same audience. The 320d is the bigger seller and Mercedes market themselves to be like the 320d but made by Mercedes. The Mercedes is a different car though and any turbo problems with the 320d have no bearing whatsoever on the build or turbo on the Mercedes.

This is now turned into personal abuse, I haven't told any lies. What would be the point as it wouldn't benefit me in any way to do so?.......please just answer the question about how many mattresses you have reviewed?

The which magazine can only be used as a very rough guide, and is flawed in many ways. However for any mattress to come BOTTOM isn't a good sign.

Your camparison to cars is complete rubbish. Cars are made from 1000's of components which would all be different when made by two different manufacturers. A mattress is made of very few components, and Ergoflex make a big deal out of their mattresses being almost the same spec as Tempur, but at a lower price. This is the whole basis of their marketing, and they are trying to get sales out of Tempur's name. The multiple use of the word Tempur on their web site is also clear key word spamming.
