Tim,
any idea where to get a 200x200 mattress? I brought one from US few years ago and was looking for one in Europe ever since. I guess I have to settle down for a super king to get close to my favourite size....:D
anyway, after reading all the posts here I think I will select Memory Foam and Pocket Sprung mattress. However I would need some more advise and recommendation . Can you PM me and recommend a particular model I should get?
(manly the diff between Venice, Milan and Madrid)
thanx, df0 -

Never use a topper to revive an old worn out mattress.0 -
any opinions about this one? it is currently on sale for over 600 super king size. I know it is one sided/no turn but can someone offer a good pros and cons of this particular one?

We've spent the last couple of days trying to get through all these threads and would like to thanks those have have answered questions from others members, as that prepared us for our visit to our local Dreams store to try some mattresses out.
However,
Going back online we may have spotted what maybe a resonable deal for a super-king divan which has opened up some new questions for us, so if anyone can assist?
1. The top of the divan base is stated as being padded - good or bad?
2. We have a combined weight of 26 stoneand the mattress has 800 firm pocket springs with a 60mm layer of memory foam - Is the count of 800 going to be enough?
3. It also states the mattress lid is infused with aloe vera - good or bad?
Unfortuately it does state it's easy care with no turn, and we have to wait till tomorrow to find out the density of the foam, what the filling is, and also how the sides are stitched.
Are there any other questions we should be asking, or are we wasting our time due to the lack of pockets for our combined body weight?
The lowest spring count we tried in Dreams was a 1200 without the memory foam which we both really liked the feel of.
Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any advice.0 -

As you can see from my post above, i'm no expert on these things, but as mentioned above we did go into dreams today and i'm sure we did try the one you are asking about. It was after we tried this one which although has no memory foam, was the one we preferred.
If you have a store local to yourself my inital advice would be to go in and try them.0 -

It appears to be dreams own brand, so is probably made to the lowest spec possible.
Also it is the reflex foam encapsulated pocket spring type that have much smaller and cheaper pocket springs than the normal type.
It doesn't say how many pocket springs, or the density of the memory foam.0 -

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any advice.- Makes no difference. If it was sprung then you would feel a difference over platform top. So it is just yet another sales gimmick.
- 800 springs is enough, although personally I'd go for a minimum of 1000. It's more down to how firm you want it.
- Yet another gimmick. I've seen a few of these lately infused with all sorts of oils. Personally apart from the fire retardants, I'd rather have as few chemicals as possible in my mattress.
Do you have a link to the mattress?0
