Tim can you give me your opinion on this mattress, my brother is looking to buy it soon, he hasn't got a bed base yet so will be using it on the floor for a while, while he saves up. Will that damage it in anyway?

Thanks Tim/TiTheRev.
Can you recommend me a decent double (4'6) mattress for no more than £300.
I know it's a very personal thing but i can literally sleep anywhere so i don't have any special requirements.
Just want something considered good in your eyes that feels comfortable to most people.
(Tim, I don't mind if it is one you sell as you seem to be pretty non-biased in your responses so i'm sure you wouldn't recommend me a dud!)
Thanks again guys.0 -
...but under forum rules he wouldn't be allowed to recommend his own product. I will endevour to assist though. You should be able to get a nice double for under £300. Do you prefer soft/medium/firm mattresses? Memory foam a criteria? Or just anything decent in that price range?:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. D'oh!
Ok, i think medium-firm would be fine.
Anything decent in the price really. If memory foam is an option in that price range then yes otherwise i believe pocket sprung is the one to go for?

Pocket sprung will provide good support all round the bed and there will ne 'roll-together' in the night! Memory foam can be warm, so if you're a warm person at night i'd steer clear of memory foam. If not, then it adds an element of extra comfort and support. There are beds out there with pocket springs AND memory foam, but make sure you get ones with the top layer of foam at about 2" and no more.
Check your inbox, I have made some suggestions there...:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things.
