  • Dear justsowrong2012,

No, charity starts at home. You must be very bored and have nothing to do if you can waste 5 minutes of your life sending me a stupid message. Did you not get the codes and your !!!!ed off. I'll sell you the code for a tenner, very cheap price. Come buy my shop.

Kindest regards and all the best.

    probably this then:

Free Sky+ box offer: Sky+ box free with free standard set-up for new customers joining Sky TV online. One free box per household.

This is a new customer offer.

but i'm not clicking on that, just on sky world - add to basket? and i thought it was available for existing customers too as it says on MSE "Existing customers can still cut costs, though - see below." ....?
  • i thought it was available for existing customers too as it says on MSE "Existing customers can still cut costs, though - see below." ....?
The MSE advice for existing customers is completely separate from the codes, which were for new customers only.

    You should have read on...
  • Hi,

I have FREE 50% off for 12 months Sky Staff Family & Friends codes for NEW customers only. (Must have been inactive for 12 months + if you used to be a customer)

If you are definitely going to sign up, PM me for a code. You have to order in the next 3 days and you must also take out the HD Mix with this too which is also 50% off for 12 months!

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR A CODE if you are going to waste my time by being an existing customer, cancelled within the last 12 months or you're not 100% sure you're going to order Sky. It waste's my time, effort and will not work! This is free so don't take the mickey PLEASE!
    Thanks

What does this entail, can I just get the TV plain and simple for £10.75 a month, is there no hidden charges, like needing a sky phone line?

Does the sky box need to be plugged into the phone line at all? I have a Virgin Media phone line there would be no hidden charges using a Virgin Media line would there?

so basically it would be £129 for 12 months of sky?
I have a virgin phone line and understood that you only need a land line to activate the sky tv. I hope this is right as I am just about to cancel my landline :/

    Better not:

General: Your Sky box(es) must be connected to a fixed telephone line for 12 months.

No, the box rings "home" every few weeks.
If the call fails, you'll get letters from Sky and you could find yourself cut off/account suspended.
If you have multi-room and you renege on the contract in this way, you'll be charged the full price of another subscription for your additional box.

You DO NOT need a landline.

When it is installed you pay a manual enablement fee £25 and no landline required.

Agreed. You even get to select that online and it tells you that when you are building your package.
