think u mean £23 they take the the £10 deposit off the first payment

Nope, monthly cost was £3.25 so added HD pack to get it up a bit.

Think there must be a glitch in their system.

Anyone up for even cheaper Sky try the codes above.
  • Hi,

If anyone has a code they dont want, can you pm me.

    Thanks

It certainly displays it like that online SCO but stuartroberts is right, it will be £23. On your confirmation page, it mentions that price only applies to the first month.

Similarly my package came up as £11.25 although I know it will be £21.25 with the £10 upfront fee added on.

There's two people offering codes on this thread:

willowpop and naomi8902 - you can try PM'ing them and posting on that thread and see if they are able to help you.

I get what you are saying - it displayed exactly the same for me - monthly cost for the whole 12 months came up as £11.25. I had to read and re-read etc. I even took a printout of it.

When I got to confirmation, there was some small print that said it applied to the first month only, it's been a common issue mentioned here. It was so easy to overlook that sentence though.

Another user just mentioned it here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4178887 and was shocked to find it only applied to her first payment - her second payment was with an additional £10 added on.

If you do get it at that price then lucky you! Let us know when your second payment is taken out!

  • Right. Thank you for the info on here one and all.

Bad week this week - found out chainsaw was knackered yesterday (£350) and today that our 6 years old Sony DVD/HDD had gone the same way. Replacement cost £250+.

Knew Sky had an offer and to be honest the Topcashback site is a good offer. However - I went for a code on here and missed it like many others. I was picked up the kids for those couple of minutes. However - cut and pasted one of the posted codes and hey presto.

Now the good bit for people unsure:

Monthly Costs (all with free box and install and £10 up front):

    Sky Ent: 75p/month
    Sky Ent Plus: £3.25/month
Sky Ent Plus + Sports: £13.75/month
Sky Ent Plus + Sports + Movies: £17.75/month

I went for sport - install next Friday - bring it on!

Hope this helps someone (and I haven't been done). MUST remember to cancel in 12 months....

All options cheaper than a new Sony HDD!

BTW, can you check your confirmation email and see what it says? My one said "we just need to ask you a few questions, an agent will be in touch with you shortly." Did you get that in your confirmation email too? It wasn't showing online.

Yeah, it said something like that in the email msg I got too.

I thought it was something to do with the fact that I went throught TopCashback first.

Even thought TCB have tracked it, I doubt Sky are going to pay up. Worth a try though.

Loads of you on here are complaining about the fact that the codes aren't working... my sister got a code this morning. Joint effort...didn't get any extras. Bless her she got up at 7am this morning for me. BUT when I put the code in I kept getting that message to, I must have refreshed the page and tried 25+ times but finally it just worked.

So don't give up. Copy, Paste and Refresh people.
