  • Looks like its going to be a day of refreshing the page consistently!
  • I currently have a Sky Broadband and telephone subscription for 2 years now.

I'm thinking of getting the Sky TV package with only the basic channels, but would like a sky HD box.

Can I be entitled to these 50% codes?

What does this entail, can I just get the TV plain and simple for £10.75 a month, is there no hidden charges, like needing a sky phone line?

Does the sky box need to be plugged into the phone line at all? I have a Virgin Media phone line there would be no hidden charges using a Virgin Media line would there?

so basically it would be £129 for 12 months of sky?

The terms of a Sky contract only state that the box needs to be connected to a fixed and operational phone line. The line can therefore be from any provider and involves no extra cost-the box makes a freephone call home about once a month. After a year you can disconnect the telephone if you wish, unless you have Multi-room in which case it has to stay connected.

    Customers new to Sky only.
  • I have just signed up to sky today, If I can get hold of one of these can I cancel that then sign up again using the code. Since the sky has not acxtually been installed I surely cant be classed as an existing customer,

I have freeview from an indoor loft aerial. I would like sky tv in my spare room that has a telephone socket.

I have plusnet internet and phone. Am I able to have a sky dish or will it interfere with my plusnet phone line?.

I reckon you'd be better contacting Sky and threatening to cancel your install rather than actually going ahead.
I would imagine they will cave after speaking to a "supervisor"
