I was quite excited when I got another mailshot from them yesterday. On opening though it turned out to be the 6 month offer >:(
  • This seems to be a capital card to get hold of if you can.

  • Here's a chilling thought - finally get hold of an application from ( happy days ;D) and then get turned down because it's all a big promotional company ploy to get people telling friends about an 18 months deal available with Capital One.

I mean, how many people will want 18 months and will end up accepting 6 or 9 months.

The Funkmaster credit card offers 5 years 0% balance transfers and purchases..........you just can't get hold of one!!!  ::)
  • I'll let you know if and when mine arrives. Application was posted about 10 days ago.

My 18 month application no strings attached came with my sky mag to Cornwall. Must accept that we are a better class down these parts....
NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!
  • 6 months only with my Sky Mag in Oxford. Here's hoping it turns up elsewhere.
  • Hi everyone,

Finally decided to post, after reading this website for months.

We too got the 18 months 0% in the Sky Magazine. Reference codes were 8454-101 and SF000650.

Missus is filling it in now, and can see no reference to BT charges or minimum spend in the T&C. So that will enable her to transfer the rest of the balance of her current card, that we could not do with the Barcalycard 12 month 0% due to the measly credit limit!! ;D ;D
  • Think I was the first to mention this offer a week or so ago, glad that others are getting the offer as I was beginning to wonder if it was too good to be true......
the ref. no. on my letter is 44431.
I can find no reference to the £100 spend, and I've read it several times! Nevertheless, think I'll give them a ring and ask a few questions.
They will pay off your current credit card debts, and, having done this before, I will include a ficticious amount from my Barclay card which I can then transfer into my current account and then into my savings account.
Whilst 25k may sound very nice, as the minimum payment is 3% that works out at quite a hefty amount to pay out every month. :o
if i had known then what i know now
  • Anyone know if Mail on Sunday's You Magazine has 0% for 18 monmths application/deal on?

Does MSE condone obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception?
Can we look forward to a "Useful tips for shop lifters" thread next?
