Is quidco making some extra money out of this situations?
Who can you complaint if Lloyds don't know about quidco and cash back offers?

Hi, My Lloyds TSB transaction (March) is showing as validated does this mean I will defo get paid? I ask because it originally said I should be paid out in April, this has since changed to May and there is only one day in May to go!

I'm in the same boat . The payment is validated for May payment after being shifted 1 month , its the last day of May today so if it doesn't change to " received " I shall be disappointed to say the least . The only reason I went through TSB for the house insurance was due to cashback reducing it to a level that I was more than happy with .

Have others who went through TSB Quidco been paid out within the 2 month period ?

No cashback from HotelClub for me yet (supposed to be £10). I suspect it's because my booking was < £100. I've had my enquiry in to the merchant for almost 2 months now and no response. I will never count on their cashback again.

I've been waiting on Citibank to pay up for opening an account for a year and a half, the annoying thing is it's all tracked even been 'added' by quidco. Don;t think it's Quidco's fault, half the time these things are just kicking around their 'affiliates' systems, these are the people who actually manage the retailers. Not learning my lesson i also opened a citibank savings account. Obviously that's not been paid either.

I found what could be a sneaky way for affiliates not paying cashback. I bought a car insurance policy from Lloyds TSB via quidco in January. The cashback reward was £130.

The T&C's of quidco cashback say that ALL of your transaction has to be completed ONLINE for the affiliate to pay out.

Surprise surprise, a week later I get a letter in the post from Lloyds. 'Can you please call us to verify something'... they dont state what it is that I have to verify so naturally this gets me suspicious. I called up, and all they wanted to know was what I did to my previous car which was insured ...

    Me: 'errr...i sold it'...

Them: 'Ok thank you sir, thats all we need. Bye'

Although I didnt think much of it at the time, to date I have not received ANY cashback from Lloyds, nor is there any record of it at quidco having been tracked or rejected. COuld this be a sneakey way of gaining business through quidco and not paying out? Has anyone else experienced something similar ?

Unfortunately thats LLoydsTSB for you

I've done 3 successful claims to LoydsTSB via Quidco. I think it might be more likely to be to do with your pc not accepting cookies?

Three of my first four Quidco deals didn't track including Lloyds TSB which took six months to be settled. I always enabled cookies and deleted old ones but it wasn't until I disabled the anti spyware software I got 100% tracking success.

After about 5 months of no success from Quidco chasers, with Quidco's agreement I wrote to Lloyds TSB Insurance customer relations in Wales and they looked into it, and it got paid. It's just their process is so slow needing 2 or 3 months in accounts alone to pay after the enquiry took a couple of months to approve. First you hear of it is when the money turns up as they didn't advise Quidco of approval in the interim period.

Yes I understand what you mean. It's all a bit faceless and at times it's worrying, especially when you make the decision because the cashback element makes the whole deal cost-effective.

On Greasypalms' site there is a 'test' you can do to ensure that your pc is tracking successfully. Quidco don't seem to have that facility.

It's good that you persevered, and that in the end you got your money.

Lloyds are aware of Quidco as they are one of their affiliates ...

    Write to:

    Rosemary Stratton
    Customer Care
    LLoyds TSB Insurance
    Tredegar Park
    Newport
    South Wales
    NP10 8SB

Lloyds say that Quidco are an affiliated website and receives commission from Lloyds TSB for sales to their users. The cash back offer is from Quidco, not Lloyds TSB.

Writing to the Lloyds person above will get the Quidco enquiry processed.
State you're disatisfied with the experience of buying Lloyds products and you'll consider never doing so again :)

Quidco will then say you have to wait until they receive the money from the merchant before they actually pay it to you which may take a further while.
