visited currys today! and i bought a new dyson vacuum cleaner. they took my payment at which point i asked the sales asisstent to carry the hoover to my car for me as i could not. she refused.

i asked if she could get someone else and had to wait over ten minutes for someone who could be bothered to carry it to my car for me.

great service huh! i definitely wont be buying my next there.

It's normal service to be honest and certainly not a reason to get so wound up as to tell people not to shop there.

You got someone to help and ten minutes is not that long to wait. I have waited longer to pay at a till!

you have to be joking OP? most people would walk out of the store with it no problem - you had to wait all of ten minutes before someone was available to help you? not the stores fault that you have a shoulder problem, and staff may have busy - but you WERE helped with it - then posted a rant on here!
I know that Curry's are not perfect - but this is rather unjust!

It's not, Currys is carp on so many levels it's a question of where do you start...?

ETA I think the board guides should pull all the complaints about Currys into one thread which will make a compelling case against shopping there.

You bought a DYSON and then asked them to take a HOOVER to your car???

I'm not surprised they kicked off!

You should care Frapster because Mr Dyson has took all the grant money, paid from your taxes, and left you to pay the benefits bill, again, with your taxes

I only buy Vax machines (from their website) - I know they are British made, and I haven't got to go to Currys for them.

Though I do think Op is being unfair on Currys in this thread.
    10 minutes isn't a long wait.

    u add two weight 10 minnets...thats rediculous.
  • I don't think my local Curry's are the best at customer service, however, I did buy a fridge freezer two weeks ago from there. While waiting the 8 days for delivery, I had to go onto their website to get the dimensions for my husband to cut some work surfaces and there was my fridge freezer at £20 cheaper. I called customer services, who told me that I should go back to the store where they would refund my card the £20 difference. They did so without any issue whatsoever.

What would you think if you were buying your Dyson and the assistant was rushing you through the sale or left you half way through a sale because there was someone waiting to get some help carrying a package to their car. You would still complain.
