lol does everyone on here work for currys or something?

there were loads of staff in the store with no work to do and i didnt pay at a checkout, it was done at some terminal by the hoover section. after i had paid, they didn't do anything else while i was waiting. the person who took my money could have taken in to the car.

Yes, everyone that replied to your thread works for Currys, myself included and its all a conspiracy against your insane rambling......

10 minutes wait for someone to be available to carry it to your car doesn't seem like a reasonable basis for advising people not to shop at Currys, TBH.

I've bought a few things in my local one over time and can't say I've had bad service, in fact quite the opposite.

My local one seems to have designated people to carry things out - perhaps the sales assistant wasn't authorised to do that (and perhaps they don't want the assistants to pong of b.o. when they are trying to serve with customers).

A wonder if a thread will pop up having a vent at how no 1 agreed with the OP.

Dont use that old chestnut, just because no 1 agreed with you it doesn't mean we work for currys.

How do you know the person who served you could have taken it to your car ?
They could have strict instructions to not leave the section.

You got your hoover in the end, does it work ?

I love my Dysons. I've got two (different types - I'm not a loon).

Normally I find them amusing, and wonder how the op copes on a day to day manner with life.

Maybe I'm just having an off day :D

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

yes it works but it should work anyway it is the service i am not happy with.

i know what you are saying but the person serving should have explained themself and i was in a hurry but they still didnt do it any quicker. i was in the shop spending a lot of money and ic ould just have turned round and asked for a refund while all the other staff are selling toasters and stuff.

it is poor service and means i wont shop there again same for my friends.

Won't tolerate;) any criticism of Currys/PCW/Dixons. Absolute [STRIKE]not [/STRIKE]brilliant company. Via escalation via email to CEO, I have got a really cheap PC monitor and a free Belkin powerbreaker. Also used their £5 voucher scheme of a few years ago to get free hairdryer, food mixers, kettle, etc. C'mon PCW bring us another voucher offer !:rotfl:

You just can't beat PCW incompetence !;):j One mo, where is Gordis ?;):rotfl:

I am shocked! I didn't think anyone actually bought things in Currys any more. Personally I only go in to look at something I am interested in, see if I can pull the knobs off, take the Christmas turkey with me and see if it fits - then go home and order it cheaper on the internet. I bet the Dyson was cheaper on Amazon and a nice man would have delivered it to the ops house.
