I have just spoken to Sarah at Orange who has completed my nano sim request, I should receive it tomorrow or Thursday - I'm currently on £7 per month contract and sim is getting sent out free of charge TOP MARKS ORANGE0

just to confirm, I also managed to order a nano SIM today from Orange Customer Services - they wanted to charge £3.60 to send it, but if they ask you for this (they say they will add it to your next contract) just stand your ground and ask them to waive it.
The girl on the phone said she didn't know how to do it, but after a little pressure she said she would sort it out and send one free.
Very good news (did not want to pay for the privilege of using my Orange contract on a new phone!) - now just to queue up on Friday to get my hands on an iPhone 5...!0 -
Well seems all the broadband palava & nano sims on MSE Orange are reading, Orange are getting their act together for once.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

I am 12 months through an 18 month contract with orange .... Worst customer service ever! They told me I'd have to wait 2/3 weeks for nano sim.
I was disgusted & went into the apple store to relate my plight, they couldn't have been nicer! Said to come in on launch day or after & they would issue me a micro sim ( no mention of charges) then to register it with orange.
Orange are gits! And as soon as my contract is up I'll be moving sim free ! To three might have to wait until after Xmas for 4g but hey!!0 -
Nano sims were available to order from 11am yesterdayI spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

My nano-SIM arrived in this morning's post after I ordered it on Tuesday, so it took two working days. Unlike other Orange SIMs in recent years, the nano-SIM (4FF) is supplied within a full credit card sized outer card (1FF). It is branded as Orange, not EE. Despite Orange's practice of supplying mini-SIM (2FF) adapters with micro-SIMs (3FF), no adapter was supplied with my nano-SIM. Therefore I can't switch my number over to the new nano-SIM until my iPhone 5 arrives tomorrow, otherwise I won't have a working SIM to use in my iPhone 4.0

Just to let you guys know mine also arrived this morning! So it can actually be a lot quicker than the 4-5 days that they quote.0

Wishing i hadn't now after reading about people being told they have to pay £10 more a month on their existing orange contract to be able to get the microsim.. which they're bound to do with this nano sim too? i'm already on an orange contract which ends in march, any idea whether my contract price will go up to swap to a nano sim?
I have never heard of paying £10 extra a month just for a MICROSIM. If I wanted to get a microsim for payg I have to pay orange £20 if I call them up, they advise to go to a shop to get it for free, which is what j am hoping to do, if not I'll get from another network and that orange will lose out in my custom.
I got off the apple bandwagon this year and went Samsung s3 I got quite a good deal and is cheaperMy Signature is MY OWN!!0 -
Could I simply go into an Orange store and ask that my micro sim be swapped in store for a nano sim? I'm on a 12 month sim only contract and have bought a new iPhone but can't use it yet and if I order one over the phone it's not likely to arrive for about a week now with the weekendThere will always be:
