all through the meeting I was day dreaming about Whopper Burgers, to the point where I was salivating.

No amount of wrestling, with myself, would lessen the craving, so I decided to scratch the rebellious itch, and participate in a burger, onion rings and half bottle of wine event, in front of the fire, instead of a Zumba class.

That had to be the best burger i've ever eaten and I savoured every mouthful, without any guilt at all.

I think it was what I needed, because the resentment has gone and I'm back on the programme :rotfl:.

...Oh I love your logic RB! Hope it works and may try similar myself in a moment of weakness, :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks Clippy, I like your style ;).

What strategies have you in place for this week, to lose another pound or two, i'd like to pinch them :rotfl:. That's the strategies and not the pounds!!

I squeezed in 5 mystery shops today and now I have the tedious task of writing them up. I did succumb to a purchase at N**t, but fortunately it doesn't make me feel FABULOUS, so it is going back.

The underwear has been a great investment though, it is a source of great comfort and support, and you can't say that about many things xx.

We all need a treat now and then and I reckon that burger would have haunted you until you succumbed. Well done on the minuscule gain, you will have that back off again before you know it x

Well you deserve to lose a couple of pounds engaging in all that activity!

Do you enjoy the classes, and the healthy eating, or is it a necessary evil to stop you balooning after indulging at the weekends ;)?

I go through phases .......... but would like to find a sustainable middle ground.

    Morning!

    Day 42 of the 12 week challenge and 106/365 - 29.04%.

I have a busy day today at my regular job and I have tacked on another couple of mystery shops at the end of the day.

One task that I must squeeze in before the end of the month is phoning up Sco**ish Power to check that I am on their lowest tariffs for gas and electricity. I do this every year, about this time, and they are always able to switch me on to a more competitive rate.

I am also debating, with myself, whether to do 4 funeral parlour mystery shops on Friday, which would mean that I hit my £400.00 savings, but I hate these visits....

It would appear that everyone else does too, because they are just sitting there with the fee increasing every day.

    What do you think????

I don't mind the healthy eating part so much as my meals have never been an issue as I like good home cooked food rather than crappy processed ready meals etc... My downfall is snacks as I love crisps, chocolate, sweets and cakes. I do miss them but I am incapable of having one bar of choc, one bag of crisps etc... I totally go for it and have all of them! So at the moment I am trying to cut them out and just have popcorn (which I also love and is much healthier). To be honest I feel much better eating healthy snacks than the sugar high and lows of eating rubbish! Someone just needs to invent cadburys flavoured fruit and veg! :rotfl:

I hate the gym but I do enjoy the classes although sometimes need to force myself to go but I enjoy it when I'm there! Eventually when I am happy with weight I will just do a few a week and allow myself some treats!

Well done on all your mystery shops! I've not got any booked in at the moment :(
