    Day 36 of the 12 week challenge and 100/365 - 27.30%.

    Morning world, it's day 100.

Yesterday, was great! The cashier kindly let us all in for a grand total of £12.75, we stayed for ages, and I sneaked in aqua aerobics moves, when I thought nobody was looking ;).

We then moved on to the fish and chip shop and it was CLOSED . Auntie knew of a nice little Italian restaurant, around the corner, and an hour and a half later we were £80.00 poorer . I say we, because dear auntie insisted on paying half, which softened the blow to my entertainment budget, which is now £20.00 in deficit.

The boys loved it though, and as an ex lady who lunched often, I appreciated the ambience :rotfl:.

I am going to draw a swift line under that blip, and deposit the boys with another mum this morning, who is entertaining the four of them, today, at her expense :), while I work and try and redress the financial scales.

I feel like I am constantly standing in the middle of one of those see-saws, moving from side to side to keep it stable, with the constant threat of being pinged into oblivion.

    This too will pass xx.

  • Hi Southernbelle,

This Northernbelle welcomes you to the thread xx.

You are making great inroads into your debt, well done! I admire anyone who can keep on this debt free, mortgage free road for the long haul, does it become natural after a time?

  • Day 37 of the 12 week challenge and 101/365 - 27.60%.

    It's Friday!!

I have the four boys today, and I WILL have a NSD. I have a cunning plan ......

There is an Island, nearby, that we haven't visited in a long while. It can be accessed, via a long causeway, at low tide.

The boys are keen to trek out to it, so I have studied the tide guide ;), and we are heading off in a couple of hours. I am taking flasks, with hot chocolate and some biscuits, and my phone, with the coastguard's number on it, just in case! but my purse is staying at home.

I have burger's, chips and icecream in the freezer, that I stocked up on in Morrison's last week, while they were on offer.

I have already told the boys that I want to introduce them to my burgers which are miles better than Macdonald's, so let's just hope they agree :rotfl:.

    TTFN xx.
