Just stumbled across this thread.... absolutely fantastic, I too am at a junction in my life, whereby I have to say "right, let's get this sorted".... have been going to the dentist and kinda half way through my treatment (wisdom teeth and a few tweaks).... also want to lose weight in a natural manner, up the exercise and get the house decluttered and decorated.... oh and a credit card to pay too.....figers crossed xx£3000 Holiday/Car Target.... £1800

Hi clippy girl, you sound like you've got things sussed; swimming every day, nails done and eating well on just £80.00 a month.:T:T Tell me that your house is decluttered and orderly, you like your job, you've got a great wardrobe, and you are the sainted role model I have been looking for. Do you have a diary xx.
EDIT - I have found it, and I realised that I posted on it before. We are roughly the same height and weight, mystery shoppers doing similar classes (I must start up the Body Pump again) and eating the same breakfast! You are doing really well! Have you toned up?
Hi New Leaf, autumn red sounds very cosy and romantic, i'm impressed xx.
SallyCinnamon, thank you so much for posting your tale. That is exactly how I felt a few months ago, everything was so out of control, and to turn it around seemed like a Herculean task, but Beanie says 'keep plodding', and I think that is the key. I'm just keeping going in the right direction, and by posting here each day, I can quickly spot when i'm falling off the wagon.
Decluttering and getting the house really organised ...... i'll save that for the new year. Have you got a diary? xx.Weight 12 st 2lb - Now 11 stone 1 lb (-15 lb)

Day 33 of the 12 week challenge and 97/365 - 26.5%.
Close to my first 100 days - doesn't time fly!
Yesterday went as planned. I gave myself a manicure and a pedicure, in an interesting coppery shade, while watching Downton. Then I literally stuck my banana porridge on my face and glued the cucumber eye patches in place with it, leaving a wee space in between them to watch the television.
At this point DH and DS came in and started giggling and videoing me, much to my irritation, so who know's where it'll end up??
I just ignored them and watched poor Sybil exit the series, and ate the last of the porridge for supper, it tasted great.
Surprisingly it seemed to do the trick, my skin felt toned and bright and my eyes were refreshed.
It ticks the box for becoming a regular Sunday night feature!

Well done on 97 days, that is amazing, I agree time really does fly.
:rotfl: at the banana porridge. Gave DGD2 chocolate porridge this morning and now realised I missed the opportunity to slather it all over my face instead.

Day 34 of the 12 week challenge and 98/365 - 26.8%.
It's a really wet day today, and the boy's just fancy a duvet day! I've been out and got them a couple of current DVD's, "Wrath of the Titans" and the "Avenger's Assemble", and there are goodies in the house, so I will just let them lounge, because tomorrow we have a very active day planned.
The DVD's cost £22.75, but I have already listed them for BIN on ebay, and hope to re-coup £16.00 of that. £6.75 is a lot cheaper than a trip to the cinema, and the boys seem happy.
I have brainstormed what tasks are outstanding, that I need to try and sort out before the end of October, and there were 53 . 53/14 is approximately 4 a day, so I am going to try and do one item that I really don't want to, and three easier tasks each day and see how that goes.

Morning dear one. The mani pedi and facial sound like just what was needed.
Did I mention there are 10 weeks until chrimbo and if I can stick to my plan to lose -2 per week, until then, I might actually enjoy my holiday snaps this year.
Poor Sybil, losing the baby like that and then dying right after. I really enjoyed her on the programme. Let's see what develops this week xxMortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84

Day 35 of the 12 week challenge and 99/365 - 27.0%.
Morning world,
I'm taking four lads and my 80 year old aunt to the all singing and dancing leisure pool today, with wave machines and flumes.
The boys will be fine, but i'll have to keep an eye on auntie, because if the boys dare her, she'll happily go headfirst down one of the shoots, she thinks 80 is the new 40!
Her husband, Uncle John, at 81, is the youngest member of a singing and dancing troup, who tour the rest homes of Scotland entertaining the 'old folks'.
They both live life to the full, and make the most of their lot, and we all enjoy their company.
Fish and chips, on the beach, and some nosing in rock pools to finish the day. At 14 the boys haven't quite grown out of this, but they're on the cusp, so i'll make the most of the time left.
I'm hoping to keep costs down, using a family? swimming ticket, but we'll see how it goes...... xxWeight 12 st 2lb - Now 11 stone 1 lb (-15 lb)

Thanks NewLeaf, I do live on the west side of Edinburgh. I would have taken you up on your very kind offer, but I have a house full over the next few days xx.
Thanks Robin, my auntie sounds like your MIL, I love the fact that they still 'seize the day'. I was worn out by 40, but I am getting a second wind xx.Weight 12 st 2lb - Now 11 stone 1 lb (-15 lb)
