hi there - i'm back.
Still been doing S/W but real life has been getting in the way! DD1 was in hospital last week (planned removal of a cyst on her ovary) so I have been nursing her - she was in and out in a day, but needed help to go to the loo for 2 days after discharge..
Also had my Silver Wedding - mum was here yesterday with a cake to celebrate - cake is lovely but I will have to forcefeed it to other people so I don't put on too much weight....
Aim to be back posting regularly now...
And thanks to FE for the new thread...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

I know from reading other peoples posts here how hard it got at this stage, and noticed I have set my goals so high it's become an obsession - a stress. My family have noted the short temper too. Sooo it's an experiement. Using all 15 of my syns and sometimes a tad more every day.
I'm aiming for a small loss sts or gain.
And less of the obsession. I may even call target for a while, sort out my head get through christmas and start over. I am so close to my "I'll be happy at that" weight it's frustrating. But not worth the anger.
As you so rightly say not worth the stress and anger.
Good to see you yorkie.

Good to see you back cy:)
shelliehollie, we all fall off the wagon from time to time.
Am I reading it right that you've been cutting back on syns in the hope of losing more weight? Please don't do that. Have your 15 every day plus all the lovely SW meals. You've done brilliantly to lose so much. I'm all for having some flexi time at Christmas but I wouldn't start now. I think you'd be really miserable if you started putting lots weight back on. Do try and stay as close to plan as you can.:)
I've had a flexi day as went out to lunch. Definitely back on the wagon tomorrow.;)0 -
*week has jumped out unexpectedly from behind me to both surprise and annoy me. Eugh so annoying! just hoping that whilst it may slow me down I will still see at least a small loss at WI on Wednesday!
Also today I'm hungry and can't be bothered to eat :S
Hoping my attitude picks back up through the week so I can jump on track ready for my holiday in two weeks
Tot has a cold today (was told when his mum dropped him off) so hoping I don't catch that as colds effect me really badly!
Happy Monday all************************************

good morning!!:j
well i had body magic going on this weekend. took the dog for a 5 mile hike on saturday- (poor thing slept in the car the whole way home, and most of the evening :rotfl:) and then i gutted half the house on sunday including washing the windows of all the rooms i was able to do. the rest of the house will be done this weekend (and a top up of the rooms done).. slept like a baby as a result last night :rotfl:
last night i had a gorgeous steak, SW wedges and veg.. pure beaut!
tonight not sure what it will be, but im sure it shall be as scrummy!... hmm maybe pizza chicken, or a cottage pie thing with veg.
Im considering moving group to one nearer my work, its just not feasible trying to get through a 40 minute journey in teatime traffic, when there is one three doors down from where i work at the same time. Though im a little wary that the consultant will not have the same enthusiasm as my current group head. I have nothing against the one im with at the minute, but when i arrive im normally waiting like 20 mins to be weighed, and i was told if im not weighed by 6, i have to wait until after the session (even if im there before 6 and in the queue)
any banter with you lovely ladies and gents?
hellooooooooooooooooooo to all the newbies! pull up a pew and make yourself comfortable.I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
Morning all,
Just had my shopping delivered from Asda, so loads of fruit, veg and yogurts etc (Mullerlight 10 for £4).
I'm still having problems with constipation so I decided to try All Bran as my HEB. I bought the Asda version and have just had it with banana and strawberries. According to the box it's very high in sugar, is proper All Bran high too?
Anyhoooo, hope you all have a wonderful day :j:j0 -
I'm having friends over for dinner on wednesday and have decided to make a curry feast after seeing a photo of my consultants dinner the other day... it looked amazing!
One of them is a veggie so i'm making sw curry sauce and then splitting it into veg and chicken curry, with onion bhajijs and pakoras with raita dip. Can you think of any other suggestions?
Also, do you think baby corn, mushrooms, green beans and cauliflower will be ok in the veg curry?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

kk, according to google there isn't any sugar in 'real' All Bran and I don't see the Asda one listed under HEBs.:( I wouldn't take my word for it though as I'm not good at searching the website. I have to admit I can be very [STRIKE]boring[/STRIKE] predictable with HEBs so it's either porage, Puffed Wheat or bread for me. I did find it very difficult to track down Puffed Wheat this time I might go for some Shreddies next.
I'm firmly back on the wagon today:
EE Plan:
B: small juice, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: LO veg (from a casserole on Sat)pork stir fry, golden rice
Syns: juice
There's so little meat in the stir fry that today could probaby count as a Green day.0
