Hi all I am a new member to MSE but have tried slimming world previously (three whole weeks):o
I joined a group but felt in the way as it was very cliquey and the consultant wasn't approachable. Anyway here I am going it alone (well I have you guys for company lol)
I weighed myself today and am ashamed to say I weigh in at 20st! ekk!!! I am turning 30 Dec next year and aim to get that number much lower....
I have prepared some portions of soup and cleared a LOT of junk food out (some hidden in a separate cupboard for LO's treats)
I will head out to the shops tomorrow and stock up on some F&V and bits.
Glad to 'meet' you all and looking forward to joining you all on your journeys.
Here's to a slimmer 2013 :TOD £500
Bank of mum an dad £800

Hello everyone, it's been a while .... I see Maman, EvilSquid, one or two other names I recognise. I did go to another class for a while, and changed my target as I think I was aiming too low for me, I just wanted to get into single figures. Then the class changed venue; then changed venue again. Each time I had to drive further through the local large town just at rush hour .... so I stopped going and have tried to keep myself more or less on plan. And I've done it! I went up a bit at Christmas, and this is my birthday week (but I'm snowed in so cannot get out and do anything truly wicked) but I had a weigh this morning and at 10 st 3 lb I am quite happy. Be happier if it was dead on 10 st but that's doable. Sooooo how's everyone else?
Wuvvies, when I used to use the website (and a more patronising and less navigable website I have yet to find) I think there was a place to click to "add this week's weight". It doesn't matter much about being the exact day and if you miss a week you just put it in the next week. It's "your" page, not theirs. Hope this helps.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
