Evening all just about survived Birmingham shopping with the daughter thank goodness!

Re mug shots if you are finding them expensive/not on offer aldis are a cheap alternative. The chicken and sweet 'n' sour ones are free the tom and herb is 1 syn.
From off the SW website the following mug shots are free on EE:- chinese, minestrone, roast chicken, chicken, sweet and sour, tomato and herb. The syned ones are Thai style 0.5syn, cous cous tom & roast veg 1 syn and chicken & mushroom 2 syns.

Think im going to forgo the syns this evening as had Wetherspoons chilli noodles for lunch but also a side salad to balance it out a little.

Blodwen: Overall i have mixed emotions on my loss. I have stuck to plan between last WI's where as my son hasnt yet again. I appreciate that previous weeks i usually pan out between 1 - 1.5lb losses but last week SE'd it and lost 3lb. Surely the idea of the plan is to stick to it in the written form and not use the cheat to speed things up? So for sticking to plan im ok with loss, next week is another week so lets see how it goes, even if its another 1lb it looks like a stone off in time for xmas if i stay to plan.

I have treated myself to some new clothes today and have found that im definitely between sizes so bought the smaller ones knowing it will only be a matter of weeks for them to fit comfortably - more incentive to stay on track.:D

I'm so close to breaking into the 10 stone range too, its like cz my body knows how much I want it, its having none of it!

    Morning everyone!

Today is a strange one, I'm back at my parents for today and tomorrow as the bf is away and I have a wedding to go to that I can't get back to ours from. The wedding had a 'bring and share' reception after it so hoping for plenty of free foods and really I won't be staying too long as I need to get a train back to the parents so planning on making a free curry to come back to :)

    Today is looking like:
B: bacon sarnie (Bread = HeB)
    S: fruit
L: hmm probably some rice and veggies to fill me up and keep me going
wedding reception - only staying an hour or so so probably won't eat too much
T: it will probably be a late one (after 7pm eek!) but hopefully will be chicken curry :) om nom nom

Yesterday did not go to plan :o and I am disappointed in myself. My main meals were fine and really healthy but I had a glass of wine and then I ate a whole pile of rubbish.

Now today is a fresh start and yesterday did give me a lot to think about. I am considering trying the syn box where I put my weeks worth into a box and then I can balance that out during the week. It is the evenings when I find I want a sweet treat so I am going to save my syns for that time of the day.

I really do want to change my lifestyle and I am not going to let one wobble detract from that.

maman - it was worth a try eh!;). Oh well at least it is still free as we love the stuff!

With regard to green, red, and ee days. Is there a plan to follow of how many days of green/red/ee? Do they interchange, or is it just red and green that you swap? Is ee completely seperate?

    Thank you!

As long as you stick to complete days of Red, Green or EE then you can mix them up any way you want. You'll often see people choosing to fit in a Red or Green day because they want the extra HEXs.
  • I've just posted my food diary on the fb group for my consultant to look at.... it's scary but i need to get back on it. It'll probably do me good, especially on days off, to write it al down in the morning and plan it out rather than just waiting til I'm starving and grabbing the nearest thing!

  • Well folks, I have fallen off the wagon. With bread and cheese and wine. Even chocolate. - and doing it purposefully.
I know from reading other peoples posts here how hard it got at this stage, and noticed I have set my goals so high it's become an obsession - a stress. My family have noted the short temper too. Sooo it's an experiement. Using all 15 of my syns and sometimes a tad more every day.
I'm aiming for a small loss sts or gain.
And less of the obsession. I may even call target for a while, sort out my head get through christmas and start over. I am so close to my "I'll be happy at that" weight it's frustrating. But not worth the anger.

One thing I have always said to new members at our group is to use your syns, whenever I stress and tighten down on syns I get ratty, miserable and lose less/less consistently than when I use 10-15 syns a day!

Was very good yesterday at the wedding reception despite so much temptation. I had a small bit of cake but I'm trusting my body to know that that is ok :)

Three days until WI so believing that I can still get a 2lb weightloss out of this week :)

    Happy Sunday to all!
