The website is not good and that's something else they should know about. I wrote to them about it and wasn't given any reply at which time I cancelled my subscription.

The BEST support is right here and totally MSE-friendly!!

Completely agree. I've been to my group this morning and it really is a waste of time! I have to say it's not just the consultants but some of the members are so irritating as they keep chatting throughout. I go these days as I've made some good friends there that I probably would never have met in any other aspect of my life (a bit like on here!;)).

I've just been looking at the website (couldn't find the blue cheese things in the HEXs). Why can't they just have a simple Search facility?? Surely SW make enough money to pay someone to design a good website? Where did you email to complain mm?

rfd, the latest on Pasta n Sauce seems to be that they are as they were (mostly free) and still listed on the site as such except for the fact that they are meant to be changing the recipe. The 'New and Improved' version (as the labelling is meant to say) will not be syn free. I've not seen any of this new packaging yet. In Iceland they have the 'old' packs on offer with a use by date of 2014 so I'm wondering what's going on.

WI for me this morning and I lost 2.5 lbs. I'm pleased with that as it puts me comfortably down in my target range. I know I've had two flexi meals this week but have been pretty good otherwise. So when I do my meal plan later, I won't need to be as drastic as I thought.:)

    Today's EE menu:
B: HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk plus teas, small juice
    L: vegetable broth
D: chicken casserole (with celery, onion, carrots, mushrooms, leeks, butter beans and potatoes) with broccoli

    Syns: juice, tbsp of cornflour

  • Hi All

Ive been doing SW for 3 weeks now and have only lost 1lb, STS the last 2 weeks :(

Has anyone else experienced this? I was really good last week aswell so thought I'd be in for a loss at least!!

Today I had 2 Alpen Light bars for breakfast as had to rush out, came home, had a mugshot for lunch and have just had a banana. Dinner tonight will be Quorn Sticky Fillets with a Rice Fusion and some mixed veg. HEA is milk in my tea and my 2nd HEB will prob be some toast as a snack at some point with flora light on it.

Have just made up a batch of leek and potato soup and have sweet potato and butternut squash in the slow cooker to be made into soup later.

Also, Ive bought (completely on a whim!) some red lentils, what do I use them in????

    Thanks in advance!

I use the lentils with carrots, onions and a couple of stock cubes...carrot and lentil soup! Just bring it all to the boil, then simmer, stirring occassionally as the lentils go quite thick and mushy as they cook.

When it's all nice and soft blend it. You can also add some curry powder to it while cooking if you prefer it a bit spicy. I love it :D

With regards to your weightloss DueMarch11, maybe try eating some fruit or yogurt between meals so that your body doesn't kick into starvation mode. Maybe up your fluid intake too xx

P.s. you can also use lentils in curries or to stews etc

I forgot about those new blue cheese ones, must get some to try! DueMarch I would try upping your fruit and veg, have more with meals and some in between, things like strawberries and melon can really help.
Lentils I put in shepherd pie and soups to bulk it out a bit. Have you been doing a food diary for your consultant to look at?

Back from the dentist, wisdom tooth removed, root canal and a crown fitted. Have to go back next month to have the root canal and crown finished off as I have a big infection apparently. All self inflicted because I didn't look after my teeth when I was a child/teenager.

DueMarch, what are you having for your syns allowance? Are you allowing syns for the rice fusions as these are upto 2.5 syns per packet. Can you get any extra fruit with your alpen bars and a side salad with your lunch to make up your 1/3rd superfrees?

Ouch! I have never had a tooth removed. I am lucky that my wisdom teeth are only just peeking out & not causing a nuisance. I have nightmares about having teeth pulled. Probably heard one too many horror stories about them being pulled.

Hope that you are feeling ok soon
