Maman, which one has a new recipe. I just go by what the sw website says. I like the cheese & broccoli pasta n sauce, hope it's not that

I know the macaroni cheese etc do have syns though.

All the batchelors ones that have NEW & IMPROVED on the packaging are the ones that contain syns.

MrsC - at my last class we were advised the pasta n sauces have now been syned at 5.5 syns a packet when made strictly with water but this is the packets marked new and improved. Best to check online syn calculator to be on safe side.

stef told us a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, the on line thing hasn't caught up yet. I've seen them on offer quite a bit lately and I wondered if they were getting rid of the old recipe stock?

Batchelor's Savoury Rice is free and so is Asda Chick Pea Dahl. (this is lovely with couscous)

Good to see you posting again nessie. I'm sure that just keeping in touch with the thread will help you get motivated and in the zone. it does me and I've been at target for 13 months now.:D We don't hear from Mrs M or Dizzy. Taking it Easy (IIRC) did post that Mrs M had her baby and all was well but (although we think of her often) Dizzy has never reappeared after the family illnesses.
    :wave:if you're lurking dizzy.

I will try to keep in touch

Well done for staying at target for so long - you are an inspiration

My aim this week is to resist the evening munchies

I may have the wrong type of bread this week and not follow SW properly - but i will NOT snack after 9pm!

I might even join the weekly new members talk next week if someone else can cover pay!

    Thank you

Thanks for that, I must go and check my packs as I have loads and still seem to be losing weight eating them :D

My consultant hasn't mentioned this new info, mind you she doesn't seem to know a lot of syns value

I did slimming world a few years ago + stopped going to group but am thinking about starting again but I am breastfeeding at the moment & just wondered if anyone knows if & how I can do sw while bf (little one is just 6 months old so I am not putting pressure on myself to lose babyweight too soon!0

    Thanks.

    Sarah.
Sarah -welcome SW is the only weigh-management plan that is recomended while breastfeeding. You'll find as that little one starts weaning that the Extra Easy plan of pastas and rices are super to blend down for little one to eat too.

Nessie - wb - and yes I am aware that if you treat the scones as a cheat that it's considered food abuse. But I would recomend having them as part of breakfast - warmed - with say beans and bacon NOM NOM NOM. :D
  • Hi, I've just started Slimming World a couple of weeks ago lost 2lb then stayed the same, struggling to get into it really, not that i don't know the plan just a bit reluctant to give up the junk food! I just wonder if anyone else finds themselves spending a fortune on food because of the diet even though there's no special food to buy! Every time i've tried slimming world it happens. Does anyone manage to do the plan on the same budget they had before or have you found you spend more?
