Well, I finally got round to making the SW rice pudding, which is FREE and is very like Muller Rice. They are very high in syns though.
I got the recipe on here which was
Half a mug of Pudding rice (I used a large one)
1 pint cold water
2 Muller Light yoghourts
Sweetner
Bring the water and rice to the boil and simmer until all water absorbed. Stir in the yoghourts and sweetner if needed. (It was actually quite sweet at this stage without sweetner.)
I have to say I only used one pot of yoghourt because I tasted it after one and it was fine.
The only yoghourts I had in the fridge were Mango & PashionFruit but I also had a fresh mango so I sliced that and laid it on top.
There was plenty in the pan for us 3 and I'd definitely do it again. It was really nice. Will now experiment with different flavours. A very nice change!!0 -
Morning all, in a bit of a cba/not fussed mood today but I know I need to eat so...
B: HiFi light bar, Fat free blueberry yogurt
S: Fruit and hi fi light
L: 1/2pack savoury rice
T: pasta and bolognaise (Saturday night is usually date night so I use my syns for that but money is tight this week)
HeA: Milk 250ml semi skimmed
HeB: 2 hifi light bars (in Breakfast and snack above)
Have a strange pain still sitting under my ribcage which is affecting my appetite a bit but I'm part forcing my food down as I know I need it. This will be my third day with less exercise though************************************

Sorry. i thought this was a money saving site. when one sees people being taken advantage of by large companies purveying incredibly dodgy diet advice I thought it was my duty to say soWho I am is not important. What I do is.0 -

Been at my parents this morning and wheelchair rugby training with the bf this afternoon so today has been a mixed day in terms of food planning
Breakfast: bacon, egg, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes on my 60g wholemeal bread (HeB) overestimated 5syns for egg and mushrooms
Lunch: apple and savoury rice
Tea: KFC - 3syns for sauces, corn on the cob, 2 pieces of chicken with all the coating removed and no chips!
Will be having my HeA as milk before bed as it seems to be helping me sleep better recently.
Found out that bf will be taking me to an all you can eat Chinese next Thursday so I'm going to start limiting myself to 5syns a day (2 for a hot choc and 3 others to be decided each day) from Sunday so I can flexi-syn a little
Hi lush. I'm still a bit confused about your plan.
Why would you need to syn mushrooms and egg? Did you have it cooked in oil or something?
Both days are light on SFs for EE but OK on Green provided you syn your bacon (Fri) and mince in bolognese today.
I'm still following the plan as best I can around flexi meals when eating out:
EE Menu:
B: HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, egg, mushrooms, beans, fried potatoes and juice
L: don't know but probably fruit and HM vegetable broth (or both!)gammon, chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas
Syns: weekend wine:T small juice0 -

The mushrooms and egg were syned as they were cooked in butter and oil respectively, fewer SF foods yesterday as I only had fruit to hand - realised I missed off 2 satsumas, a banana and the extra veggies I add to my savoury rice yesterday reading back
Today extra veggies get eaten with bolognaise (bf is a serial veg avoider so I prep them separate to the dinner) and I'm trying to get some extra fruit down my neck. Kiwis, satsumas and a banana as well as the veggies added to the rice.
I do get them in eventually each day its just I miss loads out when I write it down on here!************************************
