Another green day for me.
B. Fruit & fibre(HEB), apple, satsuma & ff yogurt.
L. Jacket spud, baked beans & cheese(HEA).
D. Pasta with peas, basil & parmesan(HEA)
S. Milk 1 syn
2 Alpen lights (HEB)
Yorkie 15 syns.
Total 16 syns.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Ignore the troll and enjoy your Yorkie CH27i'd be eating the soup anyway as its the least syn-ly option (goats cheese and mayo, classic chicken caesar, cheesy garlic baguette or soup).. so its a no brainer for that one really
Hpe you enjoy your meal out fluff. I love tha word 'synly' - I shall use it often!
Sorry to hear your tale of woe mm. You must be so frustrated after being good through the holiday period. It's really not fair. I think you're right that the SW Healthy Eating plan is good to follow in itself. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with calorie counting alongside. When you think about it, the really high calorie things are the synly things anyway so the two plans should fit together quite well.
Ammonite, I'd make a start doing SW now if I were you. As we've just said it's a very healthy way of eating anyway so it'll be good for you both.
I've had a reasonably well on plan day today:
B: 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, small juice
L: bubble & squeak, pickled onion, cornichonsbaked haddock, new potatoes, cauliflower cheese, tomato, roasted carrots
Syns: weekend wine:jcheese sauce
I've reintroduced a small glass of juice lately and when I have a full SW week (inserts rolls eyes smiley) I'll see if it makes a difference. I've got a heap of carrots looking a bit sad so I'll roast some and plan to make a SC full of vegetable soup. It's getting much colder and I'm needing comfort food.0 -
Ah Maman good to see some cauliflower cheese in there ;-)
Absolutebounder, I don't think CH27's menu is so bad - she has fruit, veg (not a lot), calcium, protein and carbs in there. Sometimes it's just too much to think of what's allowed according to the plan and making sure that it's completely well-balanced. I think that's where I'm going wrong - I'm concentrating on keeping the food according to plan but forgetting that sometimes you need to exercise portion and calorie control too.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -

Thank youI am delighted, I really love it and eat it when I'm not on slimming world :j
maman - anything has got to be better than what I'm doing at the moment. Getting a balanced diet I'd say but eating enough for ten in the snack department so not good! I was fine until 14 weeks, then I got my appetite back so after not eating much for the first 14 weeks, I've just gone mad! I still feel sick most days though so really crave carbs and have general stomach problems which means its hard to eat really healthilyBut anything I do that resembles slimming world has definitely got to be better than doing nothing. I'll be glad of it when I weigh myself in the new year I'm sure!

Balanced diet was my primary reason for slimming world. Diets I can do on my own,( for 6 weeks) inspiration I can not. It worked out right for me
CH27... keep at it. 16 syns today, 14 tomorrow, still balances at the end.0 -

i can recommend myfitnesspal too. its brilliant, breaks it all down into the nutritional value too so you can see how many carbs, proteins and fats you have etc. also shows your average over the week.0 -
Evening all, just bobbing in to say how do:)
Been at my parents this morning and wheelchair rugby training with the bf this afternoon so today has been a mixed day in terms of food planning
Breakfast: bacon, egg, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes on my 60g wholemeal bread (HeB) overestimated 5syns for egg and mushrooms
Lunch: apple and savoury rice
Tea: KFC - 3syns for sauces, corn on the cob, 2 pieces of chicken with all the coating removed and no chips!
Will be having my HeA as milk before bed as it seems to be helping me sleep better recently.
Found out that bf will be taking me to an all you can eat Chinese next Thursday so I'm going to start limiting myself to 5syns a day (2 for a hot choc and 3 others to be decided each day) from Sunday so I can flexi-syn a little************************************

Evening all
Today I went to Pizza Hut and ate absolutely nothing, it is my eldest sons birthday and we went straight from school to there and then to the cinema afterwards. So at 2pm I had the worlds biggest lunch of bacon, omelette (cheese for hea) tomatoes, mushrooms, toast for heb and completely stuffed myself.
I had a slice of birthday cake when we got home but I have saved my syns for the last few days so I have definitely covered myself. Very pleased with myself today and I WILL have a decent loss next week!Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
