Hi everyone - sorry I've been MIA a bit this week - bl00dy work grr.
Cold wet and miserable here so lots of soups getting made. Really enjoyed the carrot & beetroot soup I made earlier in the week but almost had a heartattack when I went to the loo the nextday and thought I'd haemorraged! Sorry if TMI

    Food today:
    B - mullerlight & plum
L - mullerlight, HM chicken & rice soup, banana, pear
Snack - babybel light (1/2 HEA), space raiders (3 syns), 2 pears, banana

I've got a chicken & sweetcorn SW quiche in the oven so looking forward to that for tea with a load of veggies.

I popped into Asda to try to get some cheap work trousers but couldn't get any that fit :( In the bootcut style I'm between a 16 & 18 and in the straight leg style I'm between 18 & 20 - damn you thunder thighs!!
Well done to all losers and welcome to all newbies.x

    Hey everyone,

I hope you don't mind if I join you. I've been trying to lose weight for yets and tried slimming world in march and lost half a stone but my consultant left and I didnt really get on with my new consultant so I left stupidly and i've suffered putting on 10lb so completely messed up there. I'm planning on going to disneyland with my fiancee at christmas and the idea of having picture taken has scared me back into action. I'm going to attempt to find a new group next week to get back on track and would love to share my journey with you all too. I know it sounds silly but ive starte a blog to track my journey because if i cant be truthful with strangers and friends how on earth am i supposed to be honest to myself. I hope you dont mind if i share this with you all http://operationfitandhappy.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1

    Much love
    Loulou

What a fab idea to start a blog! I started a craft blog back along but never really post but I could really get into keeping a food blog! Mind if i nick your idea and start a blog too?
  • Just had 1/2 a pack of savoury rice that the bf made me eat so that means today I've had 2 slices of wholemeal toast, the rice, a banana and 2 cups of fluid...not such a good day :/

Very pleased tonight managed 3lb off to get my official stone award, son lost 1.5lb and daughter put on 0.5lb, but has been explained to that the gain could be because she has been eating 3 sold meals a day instead of one will see next week how things are for her.

Watched part of a 'One Born Every Minute' programme about obese mums tonight. Their weight was causing them massive health problems. I found it scary that they were putting their (and babies) lives at risk. Certainly food for thought about weight/health issues generally.

i have started my food blog here if anyone is interested and wants to follow it. I feel it will be a good opportunity to be 110% honest and hopefully once and for all I will turn the corner and shift the weight!
