We've been told in group there's a new bar coming out, someone else in group knows what it is (as well as the consultant) but we've not heard anything more. Hoping it's another light!************************************

be careful with those spongebabs. the old ones were free if made with water, but they have a new and improved recipe version that is now out that is around 5 syns per pack. the guys can correct me if im wrong, but i think atm as long as you use the 'old' ones, they are still free
though mugshots are still mostly free *varieties and syn values on the website* - i love the sweet and sour variety.I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

The consultant mentioned mugshots and those pasta packs last night. She said that the ones you buy from Asda and Tesco etc are different from the ones you would buy from B&M bargains and discount shops etc.
Apparently one of them has red writing and one black writing and some of them are free and some are counted as syns.
She had a laminatewhich she passed roundbut i cant remember which colour is the free ones as i dont eat them sorry!:coffee:0 -
Thankyou for the warm welcome lush and fluff
My menu today has been (Extra Easy) :
Breakfast: 2 weetabix and a banana. Cup of tea.
I snacked on some strawberries mid morning.
Lunch: Beans on 2 slices of WW malted danish bread. Bowl of salad. Coffee.
Tea: will be cottage pie with veg.
I picked 375ml from healthy extra A list and the 2 toast i had at lunch from list B.
The weetabix were 6.5 syns.
Is this ok for my first day? Wanted to make sure i was doing it right?!
Also what do you all drink? In the book it says aim for 6-8 mugs or glasses a day of any liquid but i wouldnt drink that much tea/coffee for example.
Would cordial juice be free? For example the sugar free blackcurrant (tescos own value)?
Thanks for any feedback:coffee:0 -
:wave:called by for a chat. Although I'm at target and having a flexi week of social things, I do need to keep myself in contact with SW. Can't let myself slip into old ways!!
fluff, I remember you saying that the tinned dahl was hard to come by round your way. For those who do have a choice of stores, Asda is free whereas Tesco is 1.5 syns. Someone made this sort of savoury cake thing at out group last week using the dahl and savoury rice and baking it. It was yummy, if you have savoury tastes. I noticed fluff that you had granary bread for lunch. I think you'd probably have to syn that.
Lush, if you do end up nomming fruit for lunch as that would balance your free supper. I adore savoury rice, although generally try to have stir-fry veg with it. That's another thing that varies from brand to brand. Batcelors savoury rice is free but Aldi own brand has some syns.
On the sizes, it took me ages to change sizes when it came to actual shopping. When I started I know I was poured into 16s so first step was for 16s to fit me properly, then loose before I could even think about 14s. I also did a lot of CS shopping so as I was going through the sizes. Like someone said the other day, you can also change the styles when you lose weight. So as you get thinner you don't have to go for all the loose, smocky tops.
As for bras, I'm delighted to say I've gone from a 38 to a 34 but maintained my cup size:j I wore bras until they were hanging off but when I got to target, I went along and got measured properly. It did cost me for that one bra but since I've been keeping an eye in TKMaxx for my new size.0 -

How did you manage to get a wee peak at the new sauce book then?
I think there is a new bar coming out too.
My consultant was passing it around for us to have a look at, I asked if I could take a photo of a few to try and she said no :rotfl::wave:called by for a chat. I'm jealous! I've gone from a 38F to a 36EI only bought these bras about 4 weeks ago and they are starting to be a little bit big now, I'll be flat chested by the time I get to target!
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -

Hoping that I can do the same as you and retain my cup size!
I always get the Batchelors savoury rice but that's been because I've been buying it on offer with low fat super noodles and pasta and sauces...although now that pasta and sauces aren't free that will have to change!
Dinner plans have changed as the bf wants a KFC bucket (as an elite athlete he can down one all to himself! but we generally share) so I'll be having no fries, 2 corn cobbettes and 3 pieces of chicken with no coating
I better have lost my 1.5lb tomorrow at WI I've been good with my syns and then been doing 2-3 hours of walking and exercise a day!:T************************************
