  • Need to be whizzing around today as I have lots of bits and pieces that I want/need to be getting done (like finally catching up with the washing and cleaning the spare room!)

B: 2 slices of wholemeal (from a small loaf) toast with a banana spread on top, yogurt(free)
    S: Kiwi fruit,satsuma
L: 1/2 pasta and sauce (an older one that is free yay) piece of fruit
T: chicken dinner- chicken breast grilled, 1 yorkshire (3 syns) 2 small roasties (generally call this 5 syns as an overestimate) and mixed veggies

And by the time it comes to evening I will mostly be too exhausted to have any of my usual 'treats' so
    Total syn: 8

    Morning folks,

CH27 and anyone else who's struggling or disappointed - hope you're feeling better.

MedMum - well done on your SW friendly celebrations! :D

Kandfsmam - Wow, that is an angelic week! Can take or leave alcohol but bread and chocolate are a different matter so I salute you! ;) Good luck for WI.

WI for me today - been on plan but not much exercise so no idea how things will pan out. Only 0.5 to next award but would like to keep up a steady 1.5lb a week to get to 5st by xmas.

Going to an evening wedding reception on Friday and struggling to find something to wear - have a couple of dresses that are now too big, and many that are still too small! The only one that fits well has been to waaaaay too many weddings already so have been looking round for something new (and cheap, as is hopefully going to be a transition size). Had a look in Asda and was a bit disappointed that the 18s were a bit tight, and they didn't have a 20 in any of the ones I liked. Ended up getting one in Primark, which was a bit of a shock as I always find their sizes quite small, although saying that I only found two 18s and a 20 out of about 15 rails of dresses. The 20 was a bit big so got an 18 but it is a bit short - ok very short :o - I'm 5' 11 so not surprising really, but I think with black tights it should be ok even though I don't have the legs for it. More encouraging is that today I've squeezed into a pair of size 16 jeans I had lying around - not kidding myself that I'm a 16 but they're not a bad fit :D

    EE today:
    B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), raisins (3.5)
    L: L/O paella (2 for chorizo), nectarine
    T: post WI - TBC
S: Pineapple, post WI chocolate (rest of syns)

Have a good day all, and good luck to everyone who will WI today! :)

The other was for a scan bran carrot cake and it was absolutely rank, definitely won't be making that again :rotfl:

haha im glad someone else thinks its vile lol!:T besides, i thought bran was meant to be good for you and uhh.... get life moving lol:o but that thing bunged me up like a cork in cava!:rotfl:last time i try and eat anything supposedly good for me lol:rotfl:

waved my cousin and her boyf off the other day. Shes emigrating to oz on a partner visa (hes from oz but has dual nationality) so apart from the odd visit from us and her, dunno when or if she will return:( but ahh well... shes happy and thats the thing to remember:D

absolutely loaded with the cold (an annoying ability is i can get it full blown in one afternoon, and can be perfectly fine that morning)... the result being that all i want is soup or nothing at all. suppose i should look at it as a NSV lol! considering one of the guys brought in birthday cake and it is sitting beside me and i have no desire to eat it!! YAAAAYYY!!!!!:rotfl:

any banter with you lovely ladies and gents?
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Yay, 2.5lb off for me this week! :) Only another 2.5lb to go to get my 4st award :j

Feeling really focussed and keen to continue. I have my weight loss plotted on a spreadsheet (sad but true) and I have averaged 1.5lb loss since Jan which is pretty good seeing as I had the months of June and July wobbling about the same weight as i was on hols etc.

Good luck everyone else WI today. x

Can I have some of your motivation please :) Seriously slipped the last few days, and as I'm going away on Wednesday for 6 nights, I can feel myself thinking what's the point! I was hoping to get another couple of pounds off this week but I'll be lucky if I have STS.
