Thanks!
I will give that a go. I thought I might be given a little guide by my consultant or something? Is there such a thing?
I think I will have to carry on going to weigh in for the time being, I am not sure I can be trusted on my own just yet :rotfl:Slimming World Target Achieved 13/09/12!0 -

Hello everyone
I haven't been around for ages but thanks for the shiney new thread. I've been plodding along and finally got to target on Thursday! :j I originally went for 7lbs lower but I am happy at this weight so decided call it now :j
I have just realised that I don't actually know what I am supposed to be doing to maintain? I was so excited that I never thought to ask and just sort of assumed I would carry on as I was but then someone pointed out that I should be eating more?
What does everyone else do?
My understanding was the extra HEs as well but as I struggle to remember to eat the ones I'm supposed to have I gave up.
I do SW Mon to Fri then eat what I like at the weekend. Obviously SW is ingrained so even eating what I like its still within the limits and works for me. Target for 2 years and still within the target range but lower end so am a happy bunny ;-) and I still have treats and sometimes eat junk too :rotfl:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I'm having a real wobble at the moment
I've totally lost focus:(
Keep with it CH27 and keep coming on here - it might take some time but you'll pick it up again and as long as you keep trying to find the focus you'll at least prevent yourself (hopefully) from slipping all the way backwards.

Well done HP that's brilliant - it's nice to have so many target members on here to continue giving the rest of us support.
Well first part of the weekend (of the long holiday weekend) down and I'm really pleased to say that I was 100% on plan.
More importantly though I fed all my guests on Friday night and Saturday lunch completely SW foods and none of them were any the wiser. I actually made a veggie cottage pie for lunch yesterday which I made with veggie mince, baked beans and lots of veggies and everyone thought it was "real". I also made a great salad dressing with just soya sauce, red wine vinegar, honey (synned), lemon juice and seasoning.
This works for everyone - family and friends alike - and you don't have to make an excuse that you're entertaining and therefore have to cook off-plan.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Thanks to all the replies yesterday. My lunch ended up being a jacket pot with beans, an apple and banana.
Wedding reception was better than expected when we arrived - there was no food left lol. We had been asked to attend anytime after 4pm, so by the time hubby had walked dogs and got himself ready it were almost 5pm when we entered. Were told immediately we were too late for food so politely stayed till 8pm and slinked off round the corner to the Crown carvery. Managed a slice of each meat and no potatoes. Filled the rest of the plate with green beans, swede, cauliflower that avoided the cheese, sweetcorn and carrots. Only faux pas was the 1inch square piece of wedding cake that was thrust upon us so took that to use up syns.
Todays meals are still in the planning stage with me knowing we have venison casserole for tea. Possibly fruit and yogurt for brekkie and salad based lunch.
Have a good sunday everyone.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Afternoon all.
Having a slight panic because we're going on holiday next weekend to Isles of Scilly and buying slimming friendly food on the island is going to be a nightmare! But... can't wait!
Thought I'd share a recipe I tried the other night that worked really well. I adapted slimmingeat's orange and almond cake (http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/orange-and-almond-puddingcake) to make it chocolate orange cake - substitute half the flour with low fat cocoa powder and the almond essence with vanilla. 12 syns for the whole thing and it was lush! Much nicer than other low syn cake options like the dreaded chickpea cake _pale_0
