Well done on the weight loses everyone!

Im bordering the 1 stone official loss but 1.5stone from when i started at home and must say that only my bra size has slightly altered, more cup size than back though. I have had a pair of hiking trousers i bought pre holiday that i couldnt get on but now fit however, my day to day clothes arent feeling any different :(

No plans this weekend here other than playing taxi to my daughter. She has some weird shifts this week but has managed to go from 2 days a week to six days in a matter or weeks so we are adapting to getting up to take her/fetch her back. I mean beginning half of this week are late shifts 2-10pm/2-9pm/ then saturday 6am-2pm, then she is babysitting on the evening so wont be back in till midnight

    Meals today are EE.

    B, fruit and yogurt.
L, HM beefburger, wm roll, salad.
T, egg, chips, beans. Fruit salad.

Hea, milk. Syns, damson tea (4) french fries (4).
:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

    DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997

Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!
  • EE day for me as always

    HeA: probs semi skimmed milk
HeB: 60g wholemeal bread (2 slices from a small loaf, although the bread I get 60g would be 3 slices really)

B: Toast(HeB) with banana on and a free yogurt
    S: Satsumas (2)
L: not sure yet, we're going out around 12.30 so I 'm not sure what the situation is here..may end up nomming fruit etc down instead of a big lunch
T: savoury rice with added meat

may get lunch out to use a few syns or will have a hot choc tonight with a HiFi Light :)

Wishing good days to all and a fab WI for anyone who has one (tomorrow for me!)

Well done K&F, CH27, Beanielou- great losses. I lost 1lb this week - fine with me as food was fine but exercise was lacking. Got my 3.5 stone award so can't complain :)
Im just over the stone mark! isnt it supposed to be 10 pounds is a dress size and a new bra size? Im already wearing bras i haven't gotten into in ages because my other ones just look massive on me and it was only today when i really was pulling my pants up all the time and noticing that as i moved and waked they were coming down i actually noticed how much has gone. plus when i sat down they were so baggy on me, like an extra inch of flappy fabric on each side of my legs!

Good for you, it's great when we can get into smaller clother isn't it? Personally I am finding it really difficult to decide which clothes still fit me - for example, today I am wearing some jeans which I wore at pretty much my heaviest, and even though they were tight then they aren't particularly loose now. I have a smaller pair which I finally got into to in July when I'd lost about 2st but now they're a bit too big, how does that work?! I defo don't conform to the 10lb/size rule - have lost 49.5lb and gone from a 20/22 to an 18 or 18/20. When I lost over 5st a few years ago I went from 16 to 10, so it's more like 2 stone/size for me! :( Do agree about bras though, am definitely having to use the tighter hooks and OH thinks the cups look a bit big now, much to his disappointment :rotfl:

After reading about people doing the GNR and other races over the weekend I have decided now is the time to try running again. Bought a treadmill at Christmas and started the C25K; got 2 weeks in and hurt my knee, so much so that I could barely walk on it, let alone run. I was scared that my weight had caused it and I was too fat to run so have been walking more but feel quite a bit fitter now so think I'll give it a go again. Also need to make use of the treadmill- too expensive to just be a climbing frame for the cats!

    EE today:
    B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana, raisins (3.5)
    L: L/O paella (2)
T: TBC - depends what we're having tomorrow when my folks come
    S: Pineapple, 2x alpen light (6)

Will be keeping the syns low after today to save some for the weekend - may well do red and green as find it easier to save syns that way.

Have a good day all :)

Just 1/2lb off for me this week which is a little frustrating because I tried really hard (apart from the nutella incident :rotfl:) Although it is star week so maybe it is that. Fingers crossed for next week.

I had a look at the new sauces book today, it comes out next month and I think it will be £3.95 or you can get it free if you buy a 12 week count down. It has some really nice sauces in there like sweet and sour, carbonara so I think I will get one when it comes out.

    Have a fab day everyone!

    Hi everyone :)

I joined SW last night also...hope you don't mind me joining in here and asking newbie questions hehe?!

The more the merrier! and ask any questions at all I'm sure at least one of us will know the answer!

I tried to pull on a pair of trousers I haven't worn in a few weeks to go to town and they pretty much fell straight off...sad times as I love them! They're a 16 from DP so might try a 14 in there next time I go clothes shopping (which is rare as it is) in contrast my bfs mum just gave me a pair of denim crop trousers from matalan in a 16 and whilst big I don't think they're big enough for me to go down a size yet :(

I've lost 1.5stone (well I will have as long as I've lost 1.5lb this week) so I'm hoping to definitely be able to dross a size down by the time I go on holiday on Oct 15th.

Also my back size appears to have dropped down to a 36 from a 38 but from what I can estimate with bras I have and measuring I'll still be a dd cup :S

Bah I can feel a sinus infection setting in :/ that's gonna have me craving sweet stuff and toast hopefully I won't sabotage myself

    welcome spongebabs :j:j:j

beanielou - what new bar?! sounds intriguing! i still find it hard to believe that the SW rocky roads are HEB's - they taste too good!...never liked the lemon big bars though... they always tasted really salty to me :S

plan for today is to try and eat some form of soup to grab my SF's. dad has decided to make gammon or something akin for dinner tonight so we'll see how that goes. other than that its hot water with lemon and honey or halls sugarfree soother thingys

lushlifesaver - way to go you!! i always think of DP's and M&S as 'proper sizes' so in that case YIPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! :j:j:j

glitter - welcome! ask away, like lush said, anything you have to ask, someone here is bound to know the answer since we are all at different stages of our life change
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:
