  • penny and TIE, *hugs* :(... in terms of weight creeping back on, ive been there on and off since july (hated it, but yet i stuck to plan like i had before, and still managed to gain)

this smiley always cheers me up though:grouphug: :rotfl: i snigger everytime it comes on!

This week has been ok so far. Think ive lost around 1.5lbs, so far (was 8.5lbs around friday, was 4 3/4lbs this morning) but it varies greatly on what i have eaten for my tea and when, so i tend to average it out :)

    any banter with anyone?
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Sorry to hear people are struggling :( My partner has been struggling to lose weight for a while, he has been so good this week and sts, I know Slimming World isn't calorie based but I have just added his up and he isn't eating anywhere near enough so I think that is why.

I have lost 3 1/2lbs this week and got my 3 1/2 stone award, 6 1/2lbs to target, slowly getting there!
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
  • Hi all,

struggling with breakfasts at the moment - just have no motivation to eat in the morning! Today I had a WW yogurt, for lunch I have had baked beans on a wholemeal roll (HeB) and I will snack on satsumas through the afternoon. Tea will be grilled turkey with rice and veg sauce (3syns approx) and mixed veggies. Need to get some more fruit in too

    HeA: milk in cuppas
Might have a hot choc too (2syns)

WI tomorrow - hoping to have lost 2.5lb but not yet convinced I've managed it!

Sorry to hear so many of you struggling and having a hard time lately. As beanie said, Keep Plodding, it really is worth it in the end. :Tto kjmt, so not all bad news.

I know we keep labouring the point but on EE it's sooo important to get your SFs in whether it's at each meal, with a fruit snack between meals or whatever works for you. IMO the main reason Success Express ups the SFs to two-thirds is because they wrok.

I looked at yesterday's meal plans and thought:
pennylane, you really should use up your syns unless you're saving them for later in the week. I haven't checked on the HEX list but I would imagine porage, crackerbread and milk (in porage/drinks?) would be 3 HEXs not the two you have on EE. And there are syns in tinned fruit but you can afford them. Your SFs for the day would be your soup and a banana which is maybe a bit light.
vixtress, if you hadn't had/synned that turkey then it would have been a green day and you could have ignored SFs and treated yourself to more HEXs!

I know it's nit-picking but if your weightloss is starting to stall then tweaking/attention to a few details may be enough to get you going again.

I had a good EE day yesterday but DH persuaded me to have a snack size bag of quavers late last night. Fortunately they were my only syns. I was cross about those because although I searched there were no weights on the outer or individual bags. I had to do the most amazing mental maths in the shop as I was trying to work out whether they were good value. Manufacturers don't help!!

Today's going OK so far but I have made a sauce for tonight's pork with some syns in but that'll be OK shared with DH and alongside everything else.

Hi all, busy day here making lots of lovely non SW food for a friend who is struggling this month so made him a huge steak and kidney pie, walnut date and honey loaf, almond biscuits and some mince pies. Will also see about doing him some soups and a quiche the weekend when he has the kids over.

SW wise for me has been great the past few days although i did struggle to fit in a HEB and any sysn yesterday as meals were more than enough.

    Today EE.
Early brekkie at 5am - apple and banana
B, 2 sainsburys sausages (1syn), beans, mushrooms and 2 nimble slices (heb)
    L, ham minestrone HM.
T, mushroom risotto with huge side salad, 2 plums and bowl of pineapple.

Sorry to hear people are struggling to stay on plan and i know this naff weather isnt helping anyone. Good luck to those hitting the scales today.

  • Popping in, planning on getting to group tonight, littlest is still badly though. Expecting a gain. Stress eating...and oodles of baileys. Thank you all for the well wishes, means a lot when all you have is four walls and a toddler from snotville for company :D
Hubby has to reapply for his job, they are cutting ten. Can't shake the feeling his number will come up in this lotto!
Uni work is to be handed in by lunch tomorrow so I'll be able to catch up on posts with a glass of vino in the evening :D

Those that are gaining, struggling, stuck. Maman is right, I plateaued (word?) - I picked out new foods, checked everything for syns. Discovered stuff I though free had a syn count... how cross was I.
must run littlest is screaming again :(
  • I have gone totally off the rails recently :( I know no-one but me is making me eat the stuff, but I feel like Pac-Man at the moment :EasterBun

I know in my heart I need to wise up. I was at the hairdressers the other day and 3 people commented on how much weight I'd lost and that made me feel great :) But didn't stop me from going into self destruct mode
  • WI tomorrow... SW site tells me I've actually got 2.5lbs to lose for club 10 so fingers crossed. Saturday and Sunday weren't SW friendly, but the rest of the time I have been perfect so fingers crossed after my 3 sessions of Boot Camp!
Good luck to everyone weighing in x

Ok so just had Pizza Hut take-away with the boy, our last take out for a while probably as we need to become a lot more careful with our money for the next couple of months.

Had penne bolognese and one slice of garlic bread - so thats 6/7syns for the garlic bread and...erm.. well syns online says 15 for the bolognese but it definitely wasn't a regular sized portion, I weighed it and it was less than 200g incl the foil tray! Whatever it works out at I have had too many syns today/more than I planned :/ I'm intrigued so going to try and find out the nutritional info and out it through the syns calculator.

Ok so, using the info available online and the weight I got using my scales (actually I rounded it up to be half the usual portion size) and it comes out at 7.5syn and 6.5 for the garlic bread so 14 syns for the meal :) yay!

WI tomorrow, I like to think I had a fairly decent week although a little less active due to *week etc so hoping for a loss!
2.5lb will get me my 3st award, just 14lbs(1st) to target!
