  • I'm quite bad as sticking to 1/3 at every meal... sometimes i struggle to put SFs with what I'm eating (just had a cooked brekkie but I despise mushrooms so what else can I have except a ton of toms?!) so I try to spread it out during the day with fruit. I'm still losing weight though, and if I start stagnating with my weight loss then I'll go back to 1/3 on a plate to see if it helps.

  • Hi everyone,

How was everyone's weekend? Tried to be good this week for weight in tonight, but I was practicing my icing ready for when I make my little girls bday cake in Jan (she's 1!), and ended up eating some of the scraps from the cake I moulded. Ooops.

I guess one little blip like that won't hurt will it :-)
  • I'm the same. I try to do it with most meals, but sometimes its just easier to grab a pasta in sauce, or whatever and have that rather than preparing a salad as well.

I never have fruit with my breakfast in the morning. Its far too early for me to think of anything bar cereal & getting my lil girl up!

Weigh in tomorrow for me and I am actually looking forward to it! I have been really good this week and after 2 sts and a 1/2lb gain I am definitely ready for a loss, so fingers crossed.
All the Christmas chocolates in the shop keep calling my name, I am managing to resist so far :rotfl:

D'oh, just wrote a reply and it has disappeared, grrr!

Will quickly summarise - expecting a STS or small gain tonight, which would be justified as been good but not great (fizzy jelly sweets are like crack to me atm! :( ). Knackered as well so debating whether to bother staying to class or not.

    Green today:
    B: Porridge (B), banana, milk (A)
L: Jacket spud, spaghetti hoops, cheese (half A)
T: Probably pasta, pesto (2.5), cheese (half A), pitta (B)
    S: Satsuma, Freddo (5)

Hope everyone is well, and hope you little one gets better soon Shellie :)

Have had a few days of feeling really low (not SW related) and since gaining 1.5 lbs last week I am losing interest. I try so hard, stick to SW pretty well all the time, took more exercise and I still gained. It is totally dishertening.

I never have bad things in the house so I don't sit here scoffing all day - in fact I never eat between meals and never have done.

Here's my day: Brekkie: Oatbran Porridge and banana
Lunch: Homemade SW Carrot & Tomato soup
with 3 x crackerbread and no butter
Evening Meal: Gammon, SW chips, mushy peas and pineapple slices (in juice) Didn't have any dessert. Just can't be bothered to even reach for a yoghourt. :(

That's my day in a nutshell. Not even any syns.

Evening all, hope you are all well and hugs to all who are struggling.
Today has been my first day properly in he plan :D think It will take some getting used to as I feel that I have teed far too much, will have to control portion sizes better.
I would appreciate it if one of you could have a glance over my dys food and tell me what you think, it won't be usually so potato/car heavy but my giant asda shop isn't coming until tomorrow night.

Breakfast, 2 x wm toast with marmite, apple
    Satsuma,
Lunch, Jacket ( too big really :o) with 2x laughing cow lights and a pile of tomatoes, pear
2 big slices of lean turkey breast
Dinner, 2 small potatoes done as sw chips & 2 poached eggs, salad, banana
Tea through the day with ss milk

Wow, that's a lot of food, I will end up like the size of a house ifi carry on like that :rotfl:

Hugs PennyLane am so knowing how you feel :grouphug:

I have been very consistant the last 4 weeks, have GAINED each and every one of them . All my own fault so only myself to blame. Knew this week would be a gain as was at a wedding the previous week so lots of wine and rich food and this week is * so the combination was a forgone conclusion. Am still under target [just] but closer to it than I like. Need to reign it in but to be honest have lost my mojo a bit. I know everyone has their problems and mine are stressing me out big time, won't bore you with it just suffice it to say this is an unhappy time of year for me which I find incredibly difficult. Plastering a smile on my face for work is stressful enough and now its full on christmas stuff. Oh well sorry for the doom and gloom, hope everyone else is not as grumpy as me :o.
Well done to the losers and massive hugs to those in need :A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Morning all,

Your menu looks fine to me Vix - are you having syns?

Pennylane and TIE - sorry to hear you're both unhappy, hope you feel better soon.

Was pleasantly surprised at WI last night as managed to scrape a 1lb loss :j Stayed to class and glad I did as was a really good session even though only about 10 of us stayed. Feeling really motivated to be really good this week, including during weekend away at friend's, and maybe try and do a bit of exercise - if the rain holds off for a day might be nice to walk into work as haven't done that since the summer.

    Red day today:
    B: Scrambled egg, pitta (B), milk (A)
    L: Tuna mayo (1) pitta (B), banana, 2 clementines
T: Chicken breast wrapped in bacon with garlic quark, carrots & broccoli, gravy (2)
    S: Muller cheesecake (1), Freddo (5), strawberries

Have a good day folks :)

PennyLane & TakeItEazy – sorry to hear you are both struggling – I went through the same a couple of weeks ago – nothing seemed to be going right and food optimising went out of the window but thankfully I am back on track now and lost 1.5lbs this week (was at target for several months and then the lbs had started to creep back on

Vixtress – your meal plan sounds fine – nothing wrong with a huge jacket potato but I do know what you mean about feeling like you have eaten too much food – but it is the right type of food.

    EE for me today:
B: Large fruit salad (melon, pineapple, grapes, banana) with fat free natural yogurt
L: 3 slices of ham, 3 laughing cow light (part HEA) - I keep trying but can’t get on with the ex. light, cucumber, beetroot, red pepper, cherry tomatoes + Muller Light Greek style lemon yogurt (½ syn)
T: Home-made beefburger (ex. lean mince) in a wholemeal roll (HEB) with large mixed salad
S & D: Apple, banana, small fruit juice (2 syns), tea (with rest of HEA allowance), Ovaltine Light (not sure but reckon on 2 syns????)

Have a Happy Tuesday everyone and good luck to all with WI today.
