  • Morning all,

been up since just before seven and I've still only eaten one little satsuma :/ I'm thinking I will have two more skinny lizzie sausages (2syns), 2 poached eggs and some tomatoes after I've done some washing up.

    So that's breakfast sorted
S: hi fi light and a cuppa
L: erm will probs be too full from brekkie and rushing around so crab sticks and fruit as I clean
s: hi fi light and cuppa
T: i've decided on having pasta with turkey which im going to dice and grill then mix with leftover tomatoes and veggies then some jelly (0.5 syn)

    HeB: hi fi bars above
    HeA: milk in cuppas

Above I only have 2.5 syns but thats ok cos i have bfs muffins to decorate so I'm covered if I sample a little. He's back tonight- it has gone much quicker than I expected. Now to do the washing up then get my body magic groove on with the cleaning!

    Morning all :D
Didn't do too badly yesterday but really need to do a biggish shop so I can really get into the swing of things :D

    Soo here's where I'm asking for help.........again:o

I have decided to do an online shop with the aim of being less tempted by goodies, what I need is some advise on what I should be buying other than the usual meet, potatoes, fruit and veg.
It would be great to get some tips on free or low syn foods that are good for snacking, treats, breakfasts and convenience! I've obviously got to get out of the habit of snacking on slices of toast

Any help would be great, thanks guys :T

With your meat shop make sure you go for extra lean cooking meats, sandwich meats as lean as possible.
Snack on eggs, skinless chicken legs/wings. treat size choc bars are around 5-6syns each. Mugshots are between free and 1syn per sachet, batchelors rice or pastas are convenient to pick at between meals if you have the facilities to cook them just look for hte older style packaging - if they state new and improved recipe they will contain syns but as yet this is to be confirmed as no one has actually seen any in the shops.
Cereal wise if it helps with portion control the sachets or porridge made then with water are a HEB.
Extra light laughing cow cheese - 6 for a HEA or 1 syn each.
40 cal hot chocs are 2 syns each - top with 12.5g of reduced/low fat squirty cream for another 1.5syns for an indulgent low syn treat.

Im sure the others can add anything else they use for getting through the day.

Looking at syns online all pearl barleys, lentils, beans and split peas are free on extra easy - they have to be syned should you use and grains as a flour substitute.
    BRB - be right back.
Ensure you maintain a 1/3rd superfree with each meal for success.

  • hi ladies and gents!!

Well yesterday was serious body magic day - i finally got into dads study and gutted the place (3 bags went to the dump, 2 bags of addressed bits and pieces got shredded and burnt).. took me 2 goes to get the floor vacuumed to a standard i was happy with lol!

Today food wise, im trying to make as SE as i can. maybe someone could cast their eye over it and double check?

B:fresh fruit salad (melon,apple,blueberries,pineapple)... cup of tea with dash of HEA s/s milk.

L:turkey sandwich on w/m (HEB), skim of butter (2 syn)... handful of grapes and a satsuma.

D: chicken dinner - roast chicken, small bit of mash (butter 2 syn, dash of HEA), cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, peas (i know theyre SS), roasted onion... and a little bisto gravy from granules. (dunno the syns for that off the top of my head)
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:
  • I'll be MIA for the forseeable. Littlest has yet another temp. 1 whole day snot free. *sigh* I was so spoilt. BRB stands for Be right back. syn count on jelly is 0.5 for the sugar free, 1.5 for the low cal low fat - hartleys.
