  • hi ladies and gents!!!

    hi newbies!!!!! :T

sorry i've been a little absent recently :o... work has been so chaotic to the point that i can just about find time to breathe let alone pee! the company i work for has expanded, and although that is great, especially during recession, it means my workload has quadrupled, and it was already big enough to begin with.

i have to admit, the last two weeks i havent stuck to plan completely and for that, karma has rightly thrown that in my face. sooooo annoyed with myself its unreal.... i want to try and lose hopefully 6lbs before i go on holidays in 2 weeks, would doing SE give me enough time?

my friend ever-so-kindly pointed out that im 'not as skinny as i used to be'... i thought that was ever so lovely of her to mention, as if im not entirely aware of it myself.

*just noticed she went on a full scale rant :o:o:o:o* sorry guys:o
    how is everyone? any craic?
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Another one here in the fed up camp 2nd week running of STS. As most of you are aware my meal plans are on here and if i have deviated i have updated to show that so im really peeved right now. Was going to write out my food diary from the online one early to take to group but had none left, grabbed a handful tonight though to make up for it.

Hoping for a better week next other wise other im not sure which way ill be heading = at the moment fighting temptation to totally blow plan out the window!
I haven't noticed too much of a "wandering" from the path on your posts Stef. about 2 stone ago I hit a slow bit, piffling .5 here and there and a sts as I recall.
I wasn't touching bread, I wasn't using all my syns either. Now I do have WHOLEMEAL bread in the week here and there and rarely have less than 6 syns in a day. Plus with all this new found energy I am getting out more. - Body Magic? Not sure where you would find time in your day TBH though ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome :D:D

Hope that I don't annoy you too much with my questions. How bad is Philly extra light? I assume it has a syn value. I do like it on pasta, that could be a nice, easy meal. Also, what about stock cubes.? Told you I'd be a pain :rotfl:

I'm going to have a trawl through to see what you all have for breakfast, I'm not a massive porridge fan but I can probably get used to it.

    Vix
Skinny Lizzy sausages, lean bacon, eggs tomatos mushrooms - rather than porridge? Weetabix? Apple, banana and a slice of WM toast (Healthy Extra) ? Omlette? NEVER force yourself to eat stuff you wouldn't normally eat if you are hoping to change your eating habits. It's a lifetime fix remember.

:DHi ya fluff. How 'nice' of your friend to comment so!
Not made the dyno rod especially. Did chuck a bag of Asdas prepared root veg, sweet potato, with a box of passata, oxo, chickpeas and herbs (cumin for that winter warmth) in the slow cooker a week or two back- it was lunch for the week! I dropped 4lb that week!:D
Pennylane... chin up, re-jig your menu options, look at different foods, shake things up, normally helps me.

In our household we seem to have Hand Foot and Mouth - or Norvo Virus.. rashes and sickness everywhere. Hubby has been told to stay home till clear. He doesn't get sick pay so tight month ahead at the wrong side of christmas. :(Glad I colapsed in bed at 7pm - up at 3 with the eldest, another bag of grapes gone in a day. I knew I should have bought two!

Good morning all, lets hope for a better day for all those struggling - me included.

Shellie - hope your little one (and rest of family) gets better soon, kids certainly know how to put us through our paces! I remember those days having 3 under 5's and being a single parent pacing up and down at all hours to pacify them, luckily they grow up quick and become less dependant on us.

    Today's meal plan -

    b, porridge, banana, 2 plums.
    l, mushroom stir fry, pear.
T, cottage pie, good pile of veg.
S, 2 toast (5 syns) with 2 EL laughing cow (2 syns) whittards tea (4) hea - milk in coffee

    Morning all,

Sorry to hear you're disappointed Stef and Pennylane :( - concur with what Shellie says about rejigging menus etc. but other than that could just be your body being stubborn, especially if you are quite close to target- IIRC you don't have much left to lose Pennylane? Haven't noticed either of you going off track from what you post here.

Well done Watchit and great NSV Evilsquid :) Welcome to all the newbies.

Going out for leaving meal tonight so doing EE as best I can. Have looked at the menu (French restaurant) and seems fairly healthy. It's a set 3 course menu so will try and avoid the dessert and have coffee instead but when we went there for work xmas lunch last year I had the Baileys choc mousse and it was fab, so we'll see... ;)

    B: Weetabix (B), milk (A), banana
L: Low fat super noodles, 2 satsumas
T: Butternut squash soup, chicken with ratatouille and veg, bit of dauphinoise potato, wine :)

    Have a great weekend folks!
