Tonight is Children in Need and as a family with cuddle up and eat munchies whilst counting our lucky stars and donating. I'm in dire need of some suggestions for ideally syn free but if not low syn munchies please.
Thanks0 -

It is a big deal, you're back on the wagon and you've already done almost a week. Think of that when tempted. What I'd suggest is an enormous tea so you're not really hungry. Have easy to pick at stuff available like cold meat and grapes. if you're really starving go and actually make yourself a light meal. When I was getting to target I'd go and make a JP with ham and cottage cheese and beetroot and pickled onions (or whatever I had in). Have plenty of cups of tea or coffees to keep your hands busy. I prefer hot drinks to cold as you have to sip those.
:wave:boredjellybean, it's good to be prepared. If I were you I'd do a meal plan for Monday onwards and keep a food diary too.
I had a flexi day yesterday and ended up having a meal at Garfunkels. I wasn't very hungry so decided on potato skins alongside a plate from their salad bar. Strangely (although I've had them often) I could taste the fat they use to crisp up the potato skins (yuk!). SW has definitely changed my tastes.
:Twatchitm80, and family. I reckon you'll have 8 weeks spare on your target so maybe you'll get another stone off unless you're planning a few flexi meals over Christmas.0 -

Here's my day's food
B: Oatbran and banana
L: Omelette with mushrooms and small salad. Mullerlight yoghurtSW Lancashire Hot Pot which was divine and steamed sweetheart cabbage. Meringue nest with sliced banana and grapes and low fat creme fraiche.
I am absolutely stuffed now! I did a 3.5 mile walk today at a very brisk pace and although it was chilly and damp, I enjoyed it.0 -

Morning all,
Have already had a 2finger kit kat 'just because it was there'
Rushing around to sort stuff for bf today so marching myself off to town shortly. Out for dinner tonight to Harvester so no more syns until then now as I will be enjoying a free ice cream (will keep syns low tomorrow too because of it) so today:
B: bran flakes (HeB) with milk (1/2 HeA)
L: jacket potato with beans
T: harvester: unlimited salad and grilled chicken and bacon stack from the menu but with no cheese and no BBQ sauce and a jacket potato rather than chips (few syns for any oil on the grill plates, I have checked with the branch we go to that the jackets don't have oil on them). Free ice cream after which i think is almost 15syns, if not more, on its own so flexi synned over today and tomorrow
other half of HeA will be saved for tea etc
snacks will be fruit and crab sticks (got 80 for £1 yesterday!)************************************

Well, managed to survive the bday cake. But not so well with the beer. I suspect I am on the wrong side of 15- toddler shoving cake & gingerbread in your mouth when your at someone elses house - slightly rude to spit it back out again. Finishing today off with a lager as a treat which is what will take me over. NSV -
- the next jeans I snagged in a charity shop 2 months ago now fit. Look stunning on too. Super chuffed.
