I made a carrot cake over the weekend, http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/carrot-and-orange-cake - it made enough for a 9 inch tin and 6 muffins too, really yummy, filling and tasted like proper carrot cake, use quark and sweetner for the icing topping and you have a lush - FILLING sweet treat for under 3 syns (use scan bran not all bran for and have it as a Heathly Extra)
Weighed in last night, -4lb:D though one lady hit -6lb! we also voted our Miss Slinky in too. Lovely lady well deserved.
B: Weetabix, Activia n slices of bacon.
L: Jacket Potato Tuna & salad
    D Cowboy Pie.

Congrats on the loss shellie -4lb is amazing :T
    EE for me today:
B: Beans on 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HEB), 1/2 grapefruit & some grapes
L: Ham with lots of SF salad, x3 mini babybel light (HEA)
T: Home-made beefburgers (ex. lean mince), small seeded burger bun (6 syns - I think?), large mixed salad & jacket potato
    S: Banana, pear, satsuma
D: Small juice (2 syns), fruit tea, Options hot choc (2 syns)

Have a great day everyone - good luck to all with WI today.

I really must try my best to pop into this thread every day. I've been doing SW since around August/September time and I have had so many weekends away and holidays I've been up and down, but still at a good loss, but I'm gonna be sticking on it 100% until Christmas, I have nothing else planned until then (I don't think!)

    Todays plan (Red)

B - yogurt and berries. Mug of red berry tea.
L - Carrot & Coriander Soup, 3 x Ryvita (HeB) with Extra Light Philly (HeA)
D - Beef Stew with lots of veg and baby new potatoes (HeB)

Will probably use syns on Strepsils, feel like I've swallowed barbed wire. Not sure of the syn value though anyone? If extra will have a fun size mars bar or something later after dinner with a cuppa.

Well Done on the losses beanielou and shellieholly :j

  • Good luck to everyone weighing in and well done to you losers :)

I'm not sure about this week, been snacking and picking. Also have felt really really sick yesterday and today, getting fed up of it now!

Make sure you get some body magic in, it does help. It increases your burn rate - in the end ;)
I know how you feel though, I have totally lost my interest in food.. just all of a sudden starving and then anything is fair game. :D

And yes the 5 Beans are Heinz and just as good as the other version.

I bought the 5 beanz a while ago and still havent tried them.
I find it harder to be organised when its cold for some reason.
Should be having more soups & baked potatos instead of eating crap.
    Bah humbug is all.

I think its my body trying to stay warm :D Now I know the trigger I am trying to do other stuff instead. Again difficult when skint, billy-no-mates etc etc etc.The world is so mean to me *sob* *drama*:p

I love winter and find it easier, with soups and stews. I love that I can bung everything into the slow cooker and it's ready. Warm porridge in the morning. I much prefer veg to salad though so may be why.

You are doing so well Gilly.
How much more are you thinking you might want to loose?

about 3 and a half stone in total I think. That may be too much though, will need to see nearer the time how I actually look. It's hard to tell as the last time I weighed about that I was younger and completely skinny which I don't think would suit me now. Will plod on and see how I go, I'm not gonna give a definite figure, I'd like to be a comfortable size 12, whereas at the moment I'm squashed into a 14 or a comfortable 16.
