Well, my first weigh in was last night and....... I didn't go
I weighed myself before I left and calculated that I'd bloody well put weight ON
I was just too embarassed to go through with it. Epic fail - nobody puts on in their first week. Then I discovered that Mother Nature decided to drop by for a few days so the penny dropped. She didn't even give me a heads up!
So I'm all fired up for a good week and expect to see a decent loss next time.0 -

Congratulations beanie:T
DH has just told me he thinks I've put a few pounds on:eek:, said he noticed my bum looked big (well that's the way I heard it) when I had jeans on last night. I'm now feeling really bloated. We'll see at WI on Thursday (first one for 3 weeks).0 -

Well done! The only comp I might get entered for right now is Miss Blimpy!
Did you have to get dressed up for it? And parade down an imaginary catwalk? That's what I had visions of when they announced it in class last week!0 -

Just a note of caution.. different scales say different things. I stupidly jumped on the scales at the gym last week (only went for a swim as I was hungover, nothing too strenuous!) and thought I'd lost 2.5 pounds.... went to WI that night and it was only 0.5! You may well have lost something, but your scales aren't the same as SW.Well im blown away to discover Ive been nominated for Miss Slinky!!!!!!!!!!
Wow congratulations Beanie!!!!Congratulations beanie:T

congrats beanielou!
Having a better day mentally today, got lots to keep me busy - as well as tot I've had a whole lot of work handed over to me for the wheelchair rugby club which I love as it's the perfect work for me...now if only we could afford to pay me! :P
Breakfast - bit of a cba mood so two apples
snack - pineapple
lunch - going to make up a pack of savoury rice and have some of that with some chicken
snack - pitta bread - om nom nom!
Tea - the spag bol that was planned for yesterday!
syns: 2 for mince, 3 for spag bol sauce
The fact that I have work to do to keep me busy mentally is much better for me, when I have nothing to do I start thinking about food!************************************

Morning all,
Welcome Afroscot and Louise  Louise, re. chocolate - I have something sweet every night, gives me something to look forward to! My favourite is a Freddo (5 syns) but Curly Wurlys (6) are good too, especially out of the freezer, and a Fudge is 5.5. If you like choc biccies Rockys, KitKats and penguins are all 5-6 syns. For crisps, French Fries are good at 4.5 as are Walkers baked at 5.
Beanie - well done, that's a fab achievement!
HappyButterfly - agree with Psycho, all scales are different so you never know what would have happened on the SW scales. Also if you've just started it's good to go and get weighed even if you might have gained, because if you were going wrong somewhere or weren't sure about something your consultant could go through it with you and clarify things just to ensure a loss next week.
Maman - How rude!! Unless it was meant as a compliment- some men like a big booty?!?
Had a change from cereal this morning and made rice pudding. Mixed it with a chopped banana and a cheesecake style mullerlight and it wasn't half badGot half of the rice left for tomorrow so will have 2 days where I can use my HEB how I like, which is sadly quite exciting! :rotfl: Also making a paella tonight as have used the last of the frozen portions. Planning on trying to stretch it to 8 portions so I can freeze 5 of them - love having something tasty to grab for lunch when I haven't been organised enough to make something
EE today:
B: Rice pudding, yogurt (1), banana, milk (A)
L: L/O pasta & pesto w/ roast veg (counted yesterday)
T: Paella (2)
S: Pitta or 2 x alpen light (B), curly wurly (6)
Have a good day all
btw Beanie & kjm - used my mesh tray to roast aubergine slices on last night and was great for that too, didn't have to unstick them like I usually do on a baking tray! How did your chips turn out?2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]
2012: [STRIKE]Start renovating new house (aka open enormous can of worms)[/STRIKE] _pale_
2013: [STRIKE]Lose weight[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]get fit[/STRIKE] and FINISH THE HOUSE!
