    Morning all,

Well done kandfs, really pleased for you! :j

Maman - I love reading your posts too, it's inspiring that people can stay at goal whilst still going out and enjoying life. This ties in to the stuff on the last page about it being a lifetime commitment which sounds a bit depressing at first but actually you've shown that even though you eat out a lot and have flexi meals, if you stick to it the rest of the time you can still maintain - I think I could live with that for the long term! :D

2.5 off for me last night so got back into the 4 stone lost bracket and into the next number down :j Won't be at class next week as spending a long weekend at MILs in London Village but don't have any events as such so will be sticking to it as closely as I can. Aiming for around 10 syns a day anyway just to have a bit of leeway if needed.

    Green today:
    B: Bran flakes (B), banana, raisins (3.5), milk (A)
L: Soya chilli & rice, satsuma
T: Pasta, pesto (2.5), roast veg
    S: Satsuma, freddo (5)

Have a good day all :)

Well done guys, fab losses :) I didn't go to slimming world this morning, woke up to find one of our chickens had died so I had 4 upset children to deal with :(

I have done 2 days of 100% though and plan on continuing being good until next Tuesday!
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
  • Hi guys, just thought I would introduce myself.

I followed WW for 6 months and lost a stone, have since put most of that back on.

I currently weigh 11st 9lbs and I would like to be back into my pre baby clothes and my pre baby weight was 10st 8lbs. In an ideal world I would be 10st but one step at a time I think.

I was going to sign up online but I can't afford it and can't get to classes so I'm doing it alone with a friends help. I hope you guys won't mind me posting and asking questions.
  • Welcome xxlouisexx56

I went to WI this morning and just 1lb off, not what I wanted (wanted 1.5/2) but better than nothing. Going to have a crack at a really good week now except for Saturday when bf and I will be going for a meal for his bday, I will make sensible choices but allow myself to enjoy it!

Going for no chocolate (except a hot choc maybe) week and will have smaller pasta portions etc. BF got the wrong mince so that's fairly high syn (6.5 per 100g :O) so spag bol next week and for a few weeks after will actually be 6.5syn for the meat and the sauce is 5.5syn for 1/2 a jar but I'm going to use less and have 3 syns in my sauce (will split the mince, use 1/2 jar for bfs and then in a separate pan 1/4 jar for mine) to minimise the damage.

Didn't get chance to eat until midday today! so that's a bit naughty but...
    B: missed :/
L: pita bread (HeB) with steamed chicken breast and baked beans, satsuma
    S: apple, pineapple, satsuma
T: spag bol post gym with a sprinkling of cheese (HeA)

Going to take the bread I've been having and the cheese and weigh it at my parents as they have much more accurate so I can double check my weights etc

Since I joined the gym etc m weightloss has slowed right back down again :/

Well done on the loss :)

Have you tried making your own bolognese sauce? It's really easy and free!

The gym might be creating muscle so you might still be getting thinner/changing shape but not losing so much.

  • I've tried but bf is a fussy one and huffs about not liking a lot of things! I don't mind the syns in the sauce it's the syns in the mince that annoy me! But we shop in ASDA and he's bought regular mince on 3 for £10 as it works out better value than the extra lean stuff and I can't get extra lean in the shops we have in town...although tempted to get my parents to buy extra lean and then just trade equal amounts with them!

I'm going to start to increase my cardio at the gym rather than all the toning/muscle building stuff for a week or two and see if that makes any changes

    Hi everyone,
I've a Body Magic question. Going for gold award, which needs 2 muscle strengthening activities a week. Can't find anything on the website to tell me what they might be.
    Any suggestions?
Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A
  • I'm doing Zumba and stuff in the gym for my gold award, my consultant said that was fine along with swimming and stuff like pilates etc as they are exercises which focus on core/muscle development and muscle toning
