Just popping in to say that I am doing terribly at the moment, I have eaten so much chocolate this week I have gained 2lbs. I completely lost track of everything.
I have been doing slimming world since May and lost 3 stone 4 1/2lbs, I have never struggled with it as much as I have this past month and I don't understand why. I have 9 1/2lbs to go to target so why can't I just stick to it!

Today I am completely back on plan and I have to stick to it now, I am not going back to my old ways. I need a serious kick up the bum! I hope everyone else is doing well :)

My sister has been going & has lost 2½ stone she looks fab, I will go to a different class as I need to go during the day. Unfortunatly I do get nervous meeting new folk, but now I have made up my mind. :j

As others have said, you'll make friends at your new group. If not, the bottom line is for £10 you'll have the new books and the talk and (using this site for support) be all set to go.

kjmt I sympathise as it is difficult when you reach a plateau, I took months (well maybe weeks but felt like years:o) to get the last few pounds off to reach my target. It's hard to advise but some people reread the books, others imagine what they'll fit into or make some changes like success express. I was just plain stubborn and kept sticking to the plan until I got there. Sending you a big hug.:grouphug:

I've had a disorganised day today but looking back was probably ok. Porage for breakfast which took care of HEXs. I was out so missed lunch and tonight I've had a huge roast with loads of veg, only syns were in gravy. I have had usual weekend wine syns.:j

Well done losers & hugs to those in need :A

WI yesterday with a lb gain, knew it would catch up eventually so taking it and moving on.

The weekend has been totally emotional as yesterday we finally scattered my Dads ashes in readyness for today his 1 year anniversary. So there has been lots of tears and not a lot of 'proper' food. Am emotionally drained now and fit for nothing but my bed. Hope I have it together by tomorrow as its back to work after half term.
Anyway hope everyone is keeping the faith :A:A:A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Good morning all, it's Monday again! Start of a new week :)

Had been hoping for a quiet week but it never works like that does it!

    Today:
B: Tea with milk from HeA, 2 poached eggs
    S: 2 apples, satsuma, pineapple
L: hmm i will probably try to eat lunch around 2pm, will feed tot earlier but i will eat when we get back from our daily walk, jacket potato with beans and extra veggies if I can get some as tea will be later than ideal
S: really not sure yet, perhaps a hifi
T: off to bf's mum's house for fireworks and a bonfire where she will be serving pie and peas...will scoff the peas, and the pie filling and if i like it a little pastry but not much (boy will eat it :P) trying to stay low on syns until then

Still struggling with craving sweet stuff! Natural yogurt with fruit and cups of tea/squash are what I'm trying to stick to.

Going out on Saturday for bf's birthday - Frankie and benny's followed by bowling, going to 'take a night off' enjoy myself and make sure he enjoys it :) going to try and stick to 10syns or less a day in preparation for it though - a night off but prepared for...oly i could still see that as a night off!

I would actively avoid meeting new people...until I joined my Slimming World group! Just being a part of the group and the discussions etc has boosted my confidence. I've been going for a few months now and whilst I wouldn't say I had many friends at group yet I am finding it easier every week to talk to new people :)

Completely agree with this - I am quite shy and joining on my own was daunting but I have met some lovely people and there are a couple of ladies I now sit with every week although I talk to everyone, so I really feel like part of the group :) Give it a go, you might surprise yourself!

Hugs to you - it's so frustrating when you feel like this and for no discernible reason, isn't it? Hope you're feeling better today.

Big hugs to you TIE, hope you're ok.

I had a fab time at friend's party on Sat, although had one too many drinks which pushed me over the edge and spent a couple of hours yesterday morning being sick :o Once I could keep a cup of tea down though I was fine ;) Stuck to plan all week and saved syns for the vodka (some of which may well have cancelled itself out- say no more :rotfl:) and was good yesterday when I regained my appetite. Had a sneaky peek this morning and showing a loss but not counting any chickens yet.

Was just thinking, has MedMum been around recently?

    EE today:
    B: Toast (B) and marmalade (2.5), satsuma
    L: Paella (2), satsuma
    T: TBC - probably pasta
    S: Milk (A), 2 x Alpen light (6), muller cheesecake (1)

Have a good day all :)
