My sister has been going & has lost 2½ stone she looks fab, I will go to a different class as I need to go during the day. Unfortunatly I do get nervous meeting new folk, but now I have made up my mind. :j0

Only just starting out and I'm planning to stick to the extra easy plan. Just wondered if Philadelphia extra light is free? Or how many syns is it? Also, I'm breastfeeding so am I still okay to follow the extra easy plan?0

I would actively avoid meeting new people...until I joined my Slimming World group! Just being a part of the group and the discussions etc has boosted my confidence. I've been going for a few months now and whilst I wouldn't say I had many friends at group yet I am finding it easier every week to talk to new people
Today:
Wholemeal roll (HeB)warmed up with jam (1.5syn)
Left over curry with a teaspoon of 2% natural yogurt (7 syns - 6.5 for the curry and calling it 0.5 for the yogurt even though it was much less than 50 ml!)
Chicken dinner tonight so calling it 6 for 1 small yorkshire pudding, couple of roasties and 4tbsp of gravy
that takes me to 14.5syns for the day, more than a usual Sunday but i wanted to eat my left over curry!
Going round to the bfs mum's tomorrow for fireworks and a pie and pea supper so will have no syns all day then fill up on mushy peas and the filling of the pie and try to avoid the pastry - shame as I love pastry!************************************

depends on your pesto, if you give me a brand I can get the exact syns but red looks to be around 2.5syns per tbsp and green looks to be around 3 syns per tbsp
dolce gusto latte macchiato dried per serving 4.5syn, unsweetened 4syn, skinny latte 2.5syn
generally googling the item plus 'syn value'/'slimming world syns' will return a decent estimate, or minimims is a forum you could sign up to where people post syn values and queries, its free to join and you don't have to be a sw member to use their boards. Or post hereAlso you can pm and I'm happy to get back to you as soon as i can with syn values

Thanks for this. I have jus been frantically googling as things seemed to have changed quite a bit sine I last did SW in 2005. I really want to lose 6lb in 3 weeks then keep it off till Christmas and no doubt raegain it then to lose again in January.
I really want to get my head around it properly so it can go back to being a way of life how it used to be.
You've obviously been adoring it for a while being so close to your target. Well done!May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -

The new extra easy plan is a God send! I can't get my head round/cope with the whole red and green days thing but extra easy is exactly that for me
Still 20lbs to go but I'm getting there gradually, hoping to shift those lbs now as I really don't want to pay in 10 weeks time when my countdown runs out! Can't wait to walk in to training with my bf in just over a week and knock the catty girl who hates me out with how I'm already looking never mind when i get to target
Struggling these past few days with craving sweet treats but I'm finding natural yogurt (low syn) with apple slices and a cup of earl grey tea battles it for long enough!************************************
