Why am I craving chocolate so much? It's like the nearer I get to target the more I want to ruin it all :( I'm annoying myself now. I must not give in.

  • 2 pounds off.... something in me must have been subconsciously choosing more SW friendly foods. I didn't go completely off the rails, but I wasn't on plan 100%.

Now about to tuck into the chilli I made... I have just 1.5 til 1stone award and 9.5 until Club 10. Need to get my act together to fit into my dress on 24th November!

Hi all, just a quick plea re syns - due to lack of appetite I have been having Bachelors cup a soups. Any idea on syns for cream of asparagus and minestrone please?
Think they were 5+ syns years ago so probably loads more now. Fully expecting a gain this week as * due and what meals I have had have been a bit rubbish. Also got 'paid' in chocolate again by techno phobe work colleague so I would upload stuff for her which I would do for nothing but she insists on giving me chocolate :o. Oh well.......
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Morning all,

Well done on WI results Lush and Psycho.

TIE - personally I wouldn't worry about the soups too much - yes they're syns but in reality if you're having them instead of meals they're still relatively low calorie. Chocolate on the other hand...could you give it away to someone instead?

Made the chicken tikka masala last night and it was lovely; even OH said so it must have been ok! Didn't follow the recipe completely as I thought it sounded a bit low in SF (it has green beans on the side which I didn't do) so put onions and peppers in the sauce. Got a big bunch of whoopsied coriander so put some of that in, and the coriander rice that it mentions in the mag was really nice, although since it was such a big bunch and as a good MSEer I didn't want to waste any I may have added a bit too much! Also got some whoopsied samphire - never seen it in the supermarket, let alone had it, but have always fancied it and was so cheap thought I'd give it a go. Was nice, bit of a cross between seaweed and asparagus in flavour but very salty, even for a salt lover like me - would eat it again if given it but wouldn't buy, defo not at full price!

Anyway, enough of that. Out playing darts today so having the leftover curry when we get in (late) and have enough food in work for an army to keep me going until then! EE today:

    B: Weetabix (B), milk (A), banana
L: Lentil & bacon soup, half bagel (5.5), quark, smoked salmon
T: Chicken tikka masala & coriander rice
    S: 2 x satsumas, 2 x alpen light (6)

Have a good day all :)

I had that curry last night too! Although I wasn't overly keen on it, definitely prefer another slimming world chicken curry recipe I use from the website, it's a lot more time consuming but really worth it. I did the green beans in the black mustard seeds yesterday and they were lovely.

I managed to stay away from all naughty things yesterday despite having huge chocolate cravings so that's 2 days of 100%, I will do 7 this week and have a good loss :) Have a good day everyone!

Haven't tried that, will have to have a look, and will have to try the green beans too. There was a nice-sounding one in the takeaways booklet a few months ago and quite a few in the sauces book too. I've never been a huge curry fan but think they are growing on me! :)
