    Evening all.
Decided to take daughter out today for a few hours as it is her day off and wont have a car on thursday while its in for MOT. Before leaving home had 2 pieces of Nimble from a 400g loaf, scrapping of low low, banana and an apple.
Got into Coventry with a starving hubby and daughter so they hit Pizza hut to fill up, i headed straight for the salad cart where plate was piled high with salad and a tiny scoop of cous cous followed by some apple slices and mouldy grapes:eek: Luckily spotted the mould immediately and reported it. Manager tried to fob it off with a piece of apple stuck into the grape - i think not you con artiste! Paid and left.
Then she wanted to go and get a dermal anchor in her hip so went along to sort it was told it would be done in seconds, paid and then told to go and eat and drink for 40 mins to reduce chance of low blood sugars and feinting so hopped over the road to Ikea and had a coffee and a pear.
Not long got home because the car decided it wanted to have a blow out on the motorway and hubby had to jump out and be all action man to repair it - no sign of the 4th emergency service while im standing getting wet!!
So tea scoffed was leftovers of yesterdays Butternut squash and pepper soup with 2 mini wm pittas. I think this ok for a green day? Some one please correct me if wrong.

Lush - im thinking along your lines this week that no matter how good i have been i cant feel/see a loss coming my way. I sent a message through fb to the stand in consultant showing what i have eaten since weigh in and my concerns and she said apart from making sure theres 1/3 sf with each meal it all looks rosy so heres hoping - fingers crossed for both of us x

Well done to all the loses, and for those STS think positive - it werent a gain!

I just had to google dermol anchor and it's made me feel all funny _pale_.

I probably did about 30 minutes of hula hooping on and off this morning, the bruises are starting to show now and it flipping hurts! Great fun doing it though, hopefully it won't hurt too much tomorrow so I can have another go.
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
  • I've decided that I'm going to buy a countdown tomorrow - treat myself and with that and my new gym membership I think I could get to target by Christmas (1st 8lbs to go from last weigh in)! As long as SW head stays on 100% :)

Just a quick query - does anyone know if you can still book 'holidays' when you have a countdown? Without it 'costing' you a week from the countdown I mean. Just that there is one, maybe two weeks where I'll need to arrange to visit the group on Tuesday rather than my Wednesday one :)

Our consultant stresses that you MUST tell her of planned holidays BEFORE you book the Countdown. I don't know if going to another group counts as holidays. Different day with the same consultant may be OK. If I were you I'd check with your consultant before you pay and tell her you might have to take a couple of holiday weeks but they're not confirmed yet, see what she says.
  • Thanks maman :) If I go to another one it will still be the same consultant just a different day but will check with her before I get it.

I have that WI day feeling already, that nervy slight dread that makes me worry I will have gained :/ Oh how I pray I've lost - just 2lb over the two weeks would make me very happy! If I haven't then I'm going to try and be really strict with myself and have a no sweet treats and extra exercise week next week to get me back on track.

    Current exercise plan is:
    Mon: 1hr walk with tot
Tues: 1 hr walk with tot, 45min lane swim (and 10min Sauna)
Wed: 1 hr walk with tot
Thurs: 1hr walk (more if i get this p/t flexi job), 45min Zumba class
    Fri: 1hr walk with tot
Sat: 1.5-2hr gym sesh with the boy (going to do myself a programme for this)
    Sun: rest day

Has anyone got their gold body magic award? To get it I need to incorporate a muscle building/strengthening exercise but not sure which exercise count as one of those :S Might have to talk to my consultant about it

Anyway, to round off my short essay!, todays meal plan:
    B: Banana, apple, ww yog
    L: mug shot
T: (going to group at 3.30 rather than 5.30 today so will be slightly earlier than a usual wed) spag bol as we ended up not having it yesterday!

snacks: fruit, 2 Hi Fi light (HeB), maybe a treat size bag of malteasers if I've had a loss

    HeB: 2 hi fi light
    HeA: 250ml semi skimmed milk

    Morning all,

Good luck for WI today Pennylane - you're always so good, I'm sure the cake won't have done any harm. Good luck Lush too.

Stef - sounds like an eventful day for you. I also had to google dermal anchor - all I can say is  but then I don't get young people's stuff :rotfl:

I bought one last week and hols have to be pre-booked but she told me if you go to a different class it isn't taken as a holiday, just as one of your prepaid weeks :)

Had a bit of a cooking spree last night and as well as our tea made some lentil and bacon soup and decided to have chicken tikka masala from the new mag tonight so made the sauce up and the chicken is marinating as I type :) It's OH favourite curry (well the full fat version is, never tried making a SW version before) so we'll see what the verdict is tonight!

    EE today:
    B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), raisins (3.5), banana
L: Lentil and bacon soup, half a bagel (5.5), Quark, smoked salmon, peach
T: Chicken tikka masala & rice
    S: Yogurt, Freddo (5)

Have a good day folks :)

    morning ladies!

KJMTIDEA - i googled it too (out of curiosity) after i read your post :eek:surely thats BOUND to hurt!

woop woop! apparently its meant to be dry until saturday here! hopefully (if i get out of work in good time) im going to try and get the grass cut... or at least the bit that we will be using on the weekend.... took me years to figure out that if we keep it shorter it dries quicker:rotfl: i tell ya, if i had brains id be dangerous!

going to cut out bread-y things and see if that helps with the loss. I will be the weight i want for the beginning of december, i just need to get my toosh into gear and get it done :)

p.s, does anyone know when the new SW mag is out?

ETA:i really should read properly and not skim read to catchup. blodwen is there anything nice in the new one?
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:
  • There's a new mag that came out last week if that's the one you mean...don't know when the one after that is due :)

Have good days everyone, positive thoughts for all those with WI today

Are the sausages 1 syn each? I've been missing sausages as i haven't found any low syn ones in shops here but there is a little Sainsburys down the roaf...
