im doing slimming world online.... will it tell me when its time to add my weight for the next week? it says week beginning... but i dont know how to add this weeks weight. i think ive been doing it 8 days
I don't know much about doing it online as such but all members get access to the SW website so maybe it's similar. On the site it has a box that says 'you last weighed in on DATE, please update your weight' or something like that then there's a graph charting your progress. It doesn't really matter about the 8 days in terms of progress but it would be difficult if you were to save syns across the week like I do. What most people do is to weigh at about the same day and time every week and wearing the same sort of clothes and using the same scales to control as many variables as possible to make it a fair comparison week on week. Thank you all again for your replies to my post. I have read them all and really appreciate what you have had to say.
I returned to work yesterday and was out yesterday evening so haven't had time to catch up and reply properly or post my menu from yesterday which I must write down soon before I forget! so hopefully I can catch up with you all properly later :j:T have a good day all0 -
Morning all,
Just had a quick catch up - *hugs* to FE, RFD and anyone else who needs them. Well done to the losers and good luck to newbies and anyone with WI today.
Green for me today:
B: Bran flakes (B), milk (A), banana, raisins (3.5)
L: Jacket spud & L/O soya bolognese (darn, just realised forgot to bring any salad)
T: Soya spag bol, cheese (B)
S: KitKat (5.5), yogurt, pear
Short and sweet today- feel a bit out of the loop as even though I've had a read through it's too late to reply to most things! Don't worry, I'll be back to writing essays soon :rotfl:2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

just a quick one! does anyone know of any low-syn ready meals? I have a long day at work today (12 til 12) and nothing in the flat to cook up to be able to take and reheat for my dinner.

I'd say that Green is probably the cheapest option as you don't have to buy loads of veg, you can syn small amouts of meat and pasta is cheapish and filling.

Hi all. Sorry if I'm being dim, but isn't it a third superfree on all the plans, so wouldn't amount of veg be the same? I'm just trying out green days as a change cos I seem to have got stuck on EE. Any hints would be appreciated.:)Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

I'm reading this and I think you are saying you find eating healthily expensive? Is that right? I don't find it any more expensive - fresh ingredients are usually cheaper than frozen ready made meals. Likewise fresh veg against washed/diced pkts of veg and fresh sauces against jars of sauces and pkts to add to foods.
Look at the SW site there are masses of recipes on there.
I have to admit i thought SW would be more expensive when i first started but i think i spend LESS money doing SW because i am not buying a cupboard full of sweets & treats.
I tend to buy frozen veggies as i think these are a bit more economical - i even went through a stage of buying frozen peppers/mushrooms but have given up on them now as the amount of water that comes out is annoying & ruins the meal..
Sauces i just buy loads of value passata, throw some herbs in * freeze until needed. I think i pay 29p for a carton?
